Thank you Myr, and everyone else who made GA and keep it running. Like many others, I chanced on GA following a link from another site. I rarely visit that place anymore. What I found here wasn't merely satisfying writing, but a community of people who took me where I was and reached out with hands of friendship. And these friends are not the hollow kind one makes on other sites, but many kind and wonderful people who care. @Valkyrie greeted me within hours of my joining. @craftingmom was extraordinarily kind to edit A to Z; @Carlos Hazday wrote the first comment on anything I posted; I would never have written a word of poetry if not for @Mikiesboy. @AC Benus taught me more than any professor ever did, and in @northie, @asamvav111, @Timothy M. and @Headstall, I've made friends around the world. Thank you, everyone, for making life richer and happier. Happy 16, GA!

Something tells me that Chad might surrender to Danny, anyway. But I doubt he’d mind. The battle scene was awesome. Action is very hard to write well. Kudos to you.

Killian as chosen. Looks like there could be Chosen blood in the streets before too long. Chad as leader? Definitely seething in the wings. And what to make of Danny the flirt and his cousin? Something tells me it’s too damn easy...

I hope that these two meet someday; their words reveal much about themselves, but actuality would make or break their friendship.

And now Watson thinks deeply in response. The ‘purpose in life’ question can be quite unnerving. But he also betrayed a bit of himself in his strikeout. And I agree, lifeguards are hot.

Sherlock is definitely going deeper. I am enjoying how their friendship is growing incrementally, imperceptibly.

A very interesting question posed: why bash all jocks? Why lump everyone together? And yet Watson may be looking for a way to dissociate himself from jockdom to keep his new friend. His singing skills won’t do that...

Your letter makes me grieve for all the stolen things, for all the spirit and life gone. Your words make me want find a walk or sponsor someone who can do it if I cannot. But most of all, it makes me want to offer strength and love to you, and to those I know who are affected by this thief.

Marcus has a story that is far too familiar. But then to fall in with Jacob when he’s at the end of the tether, that’s both beautiful and miraculous. Merry Christmas.

The probing continues, and as correspondents do, they respond and later amplify. Sherlock and Watson seem to be learning many superficial things about one another. What will impel them to learn more?

And so the offer of friendship is made. There is a lot to think about in this chapter. I am enjoying this exchange of letters.

You are developing their epistolary relationship nicely. Such writing is hard to carry off, yet it sounds natural to the readers ear. Or to mine, anyway.

I read each poem and hold a piece of you. I absorb each sentence, and yearn to ease your hurt. You ask questions I cannot answer with words, but only with light and love and my deepest hugs.

I enjoyed the premise and the beginning. Thank you.

It has taken weeks and weeks of being with Tony to build Geoff up, to make him feel worthy and capable. It his mother sixty seconds to tear him down again. Yet she is the most likely to come to tears at the end, when she realizes that Tony will help Geoff to heal, but none will be there for her. And honestly, that would serve her right.

Oh my, I’m getting increasingly interested. And can I say I was vastly entertained by the training scene? Thank you.

Hey, thanks for updating this old math teacher on your week at college. Your work in Calc 2 made me smile, especially. I shall continue to think on you and your studies in the days ahead.

A lovely story, one to keep the heart warm.

Now there is so much to ponder about Kevin. He wants men he cannot have. Becker gave only a portion of himself, and no more. Duncan is unwilling, though his resistance is crumbling. Yet even if Kevin manages an affair with Duncan, it cannot but end in heartbreak. Great reading.

Kevin’s head is in a million places, and not surprisingly. Becker was beautiful to him, but could not, would not dive deeper with him. Will Duncan and Sebastien help Kevin with his inner torments and his memories? Great chapter.

Hooray for love. Randall especially comes in for kudos. I’m thinking something at Aunt Janice’s is going to go seriously wrong. I’m leery of plan B.

Mark and Bobby have taken progressively bigger steps. Plans B and C might be as big as Bobby taking Mark in the morning. Maybe.

Killian just stirred the pot. The Ever After Chaos gang has nothing on high school dynamics. All that tension and emotional energy could be harnessed to patch up that failing wall...and it would last forever. Great chapter!
