I'm wondering if Eric has the strength to take care of 2,000,000 people. I'm glad that Peter said that he would be the only Makarovian there the night of their wedding. I hope that Eric can get through a dinner where the people of Makarovia say that the wedding of Peter and Eric can take place because they accept the engagement. The American and British General's might work out to be great assets to Peter and Eric especially after the meeting they had about the trash.

I feel like Peter wants the change for Makarovia but is feeling a little apprehensive about it right now because of the temporary trailers for the people who are moving to Makarovia to work. The changes that are happening are going to make it a better country. I'm glad that they're thinking ahead for the sake of the country.

Olek seems to enjoy his vacation with Peter and Eric. I like the way that Olek is trying to include Eric in the business of Makarovia, Olek asked Eric about his course of study at the college. Eric is studying industrial ecology. Olek wants Eric to be in charge of the mining and processing of the uranium to make sure that everyone involved follows the rules and regulations so that no one gets sick or dies due to not having the proper ventilation or the proper attire for doing the job, Eric also would need to make sure that the environment stays safe as well. Eric needs to finish his courses at Northeastern University first then Makarovia will pay for him to go to MIT for another 3-4 years. Eric accepted the offer from Olek because he'll feel like he's doing something to help his new country. He and Peter have 3 more years to finish the time they have left at Northeastern University first. I hope that Olek will take at least a week for a vacation every year.

I really like where the guards took Peter and Eric. They were taken to a club of sorts, it turned out to be a grotto that was carved out of the side of a mountain. They saw couples dancing, they were heterosexual, gay & lesbian. No one cared about the gay or lesbian couples everyone wanted the same thing to go out do some dancing then go home. I'm glad that Eric went to talk to Olek and was able to convince him to take the time off before he wound up passing away at a young age like their father did due to stress and fatigue.

I loved this chapter it starts out kinda easygoing with it being moving day, then 2 agents show up with a police cruiser as backup. They say that Ian had to come downtown to answer some questions, then they pull into an alley and lead him into a room with a table for two with the white table cloth and all. Then Ian sees Adam after he had the feeling that he gets whenever Adam's around. They dance for a while and then Adam proposes to Ian and they have a great dinner and then a private tour of the museum without a guide to direct them around the different exhibits. I'm glad that it's finally happening that they have a great family along with lots of people they consider to be family. I can't wait to read more.

Another great chapter. Now that Peter and Eric are in Makarovia they want to see what the night life is like. Neither of them knew where go so their security people know where to take them to. I hope that they have a great time wherever they're going. I'm glad that between three of them they got Olek to take some time off and relax. I think it's great that they were able to talk Olek into taking the time off before he collapses form stress and exhaustion. Olek has not taken the time he needs to restore himself to peak condition. He says he doesn't have the time because there's so much to do, he hasn't even taken the time to find someone to share his life with him and possibly give him an heir.

I'm glad that Eric and Peter are seeing the beauty of the city of Stryia. I like the other comments about the fact that the ideas for Makarovia that Eric has, the thing that he has to keep in mind is a balance between the original beauty and the new structures. I hope that the three photographers they brought with them will be able to capture the beauty of the city and the country. I'm also looking forward to the next chapter in hopes that they can get the photo of the royal family including Eric since he and Peter are getting married.

I agree that the anger Wayne felt toward Ralph was a very strong emotion that Wayne had felt and carried with him for 50 years. I hope that Repetate and Iustinia can help Ralph become more acclimated to being where they get to watch cartoons and have all the blood they need without having to attack another person in order to get the meal for the night. I really hope that the Dr's and scientists that attended the conference will help with the vampires in their countries. I know that these people will have to involve people in the government to be able to allow the VUN to come in and work with the vampires who want to have a semi normal life again. I'm glad that Amasis, Colin and Devon were able to get Wayne to calm down by telling him all the good things he has now.

I'm proud of Peter for being assertive and very confident in the interview. Even Olek and Alla are proud of him and have said so to him. I agree with Olek and Alla when they say that Peter's confidence is due to Eric being in his life. I hope that the new ideas for Makarovia that Eric has thought of will be put into place and they'll work the way that he hopes they will. I think the interview with Anderson Cooper went extremely well and with the statement made by Queen Alla about the support of the family that Peter and Eric's wedding is the talk of the world.

I'm glad that Eric has given Anderson Cooper the way that they want things to proceed for the interview. I'm glad that Eric told Anderson that even though they knew what was happening in Makarovia they wouldn't say anything about it other than King Olek will be making an announcement about it at the end of the week. After all of the introductions were done they went into the living room for the interview, and the Queen may be asked if she and King Olek support the wedding of Peter and Eric. I am really loving the story with every word I read it becomes more real to me and I can imagine myself as one of the characters.

Another really terrific chapter. I'm glad that Olek has given Eric his permission to update the web site for Makarovia and get updated pictures of the royal family including Eric since he and Peter are planning to marry. I like that Eric has thought about using the art department of the university to do the work that will be needed to get everything updated on the website for Makarovia. I'm glad that the university has been very supportive of the security detail for Peter and Eric, as well as using not only the university police force but Boston police department as well for added security to keep the press away from the guys. I'm glad that Eric has made a choice of who to allow to interview them about their plans to marry as Peter is actually Prince Petro of Makarovia, and Eric will become Prince Eric after they get married. I'm glad that Olek has told Eric he would like to know more about the ways in which to improve Makarovia so that they'll be more independent of other countries than they used to be. I can't wait to read what's next. Thanks for writing another fantastic story.

Another terrific chapter, you can bring the best out in your characters. I'm glad that Peter has Eric because Eric is thinking about what needs to happen since Makarovia is going to start mining uranium, and the process of mining it needs to be taught to the people who will be doing that as well as places for the military personnel from the United States and Great Britain to live buy their groceries and places to go for entertainment. I'm sure Eric will be able to make their room at the Townhouse just that, their room not just a place to sleep. I'm glad that Olek had the forethought to hire Penelope Baldwin as the secretary and press liaison, she seems to really know how to handle the paparazzi. I hope that the guys decide on who to give their interview to soon.

I am really loving the story, but this guy Brad is going to be a problem. Brad doesn't seem to grasp the fact that no means no, if he's told no take it and walk away. I hope that the article that Ted writes is as respectful as it can be, especially since the reason for the dinner at the White House wasn't stated for specific reasons. I think Eric and Peter are lucky it was Ted that saw the pictures from the dinner and put the pieces together, I think anyone else would have done what Peter thought Ted was trying to get was just an article. I'm glad that King Olek, Queen Alla, and Eric's grandmother all see the love between Eric and Peter and they are very supportive of the relationship. I'm sure there are things that neither Eric or Peter have thought of with regards to the life they'll have once they're married. I can't wait to read about the article and the uranium deal being made.

Really great chapter. I really like the way that Eric and Peter are becoming closer to each other with each new chapter. I'm glad that their economics professor paired them up with each other for the project. I'm glad that Eric saw something in Peter that he liked and did everything he could to make sure that Peter would be more personable so he could possibly find more friends. I'm on to the next chapter.

Another great chapter. I'm glad that Devon knew enough to think about going into the container to try to calm the old one down. I think that even after all that they've been through Colin is still leary of letting Devon do what's right. Once Devon and Colin were in the container with Ralph (the name Colin came up with) Devon started the process of trying to get Ralph to calm down by first offering Ralph some blood containing a special sedative mixed in with the blood. I'm glad that Devon thought to have all the people who weren't vampires to leave the area and to have Vlad bring Repetate and Iustinia to the container to meet Ralph.

I'm sorry that I missed this story to read first. Now that I know the background story of the characters, I think I can relate more to them. This is a great start to the story, I can't wait to read more as the relationship between Peter and Eric grows as they are becoming great friends.

Great start, I'm wondering if you might give us a bit more information on the two main characters Peter and Eric. It appears that they are to live in the USA for a period of one year. Eric is Royalty of some sort, thus the reason for the personal security as well as security for the house including the steel doors that are almost destruction resistance.

I do believe this was the best way to express your feelings toward someone who was very important to you for many years. I'm sure that Ronnie Milsap had a reason for the song, I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World. We'll never really know what the reason was for the song. I think that in your case you knew that Daniel was going to die even though in your heart you hoped it wouldn't happen any time soon, now that it has you're dealing with some serious emotions and you're not sure why it's happening thus the reason for the depression. I'm only saying this because I still have times when I think about my wife and I get depressed because unlike your situation I had no advanced warning of her death. We were married 24 years when she passed away from a grand mal seizure, the only bright spot was that she lived long enough to see our youngest son get the needed kidney transplant that he desperately needed or he would have been gone as well. I hope that you can remember the good times you had with Daniel as a way to keep his memory there for you. I hope that by writing these words that I have that I don't upset you when you read them. It wasn't my intention upset you. I for one can say I really enjoy the stories that you write.

I'm sorry that you're hurting as well. I wonder if the old one that was caught by the VUN-GB is the same one that bit Wayne. I guess we won't know that until the group from VUN-US gets there and Wayne has a chance to see him face to face. I understand that Wayne is very nervous about this but he knows that it's necessary. I hope that Devon and Colin will be ready for their guests to be very invasive in their investigation into the two of them being vampires. This story is getting very interesting since all of a sudden they determine that they need help from the various countries and the best way to get it is to allow these Dr's that they are vampires. George and Colin thought it was a good idea to involve the Dr's in hopes that they can get their governments to help in the search for the vampires.

I'm inclined to believe that the female from Australia definitely had a crush on George, but got her feelings hurt when George introduced John as his fiancee. I love the way you describe Colin's love of food based on how much he eats I really believe that he loves food. I think the seminar that George is doing seems to be going good. I hope that this works so that the VUN is able to get more help from the other countries to be able to locate and help the vampires who are tired of hiding and surviving on their need for blood.

I agree with droughtquake that John really needs to find something to keep him busy so he's not just sitting around getting upset with George for not bring there. George gets into his work and basically zones everyone and everything out. I hope that George and John really work on George's inattentiveness before setting a date for the wedding. I think Colin might be right about Devon's ability to bring people together, as he'd already done for Gaby and Alex, Betty and Willie, Dragon and Gaius. I hope that everything goes well with George talking to the doctor's that have come to the VUN-US in order to get information on the blood disease that is what the vampires have flowing through their veins, for which George had developed the serum to block the venom from making them want to drink blood and hide from the sun. With the serum the vampires are able to eat whatever they want and are able to go out in the daytime and be productive members of society. Great chapter it's getting better all the time.

I agree that this is another fantastic chapter. I'm glad that JP interceded between Stef and Will since Stef was on his high horse again about JJ and Will wasn't going to be the bad guy over Stef wanting to be the savior of JJ after he asked Will and Darius to go to New York and get JJ to straighten up his attitude. I hope that they'll be able to put a lot of the 9-11 things behind them sometime soon, I can understand why they're having to be in New Jersey for the dedication of the bell which will have Jeannie's name inscribed on it as being from the area. I'm wondering what's up with JJ and the new attitude towards the family, it's like he's done a complete turn around from being bitchy to being nice. I also wonder how long it'll last. I hope that something can be done to get Jake back from the cartel in Mexico. By the way Happy New Year to you. I hope that your holidays were nice.

It's to bad that Devon couldn't get away to talk to John about what had him upset. I'm glad that Devon knew enough from being around Repetate and Iustinia that they were starting to get very agitated by smelling the doctors and those with them as someone they could feed on. I'm glad that Devon knew that he had to calm them down and did so by giving them some blood. I hope that the VUN is going to be able to get the approval and support they need to go to these various countries and help the vampires who live in those countries. I hope that Devon can get away soon to talk to John and George about what's troubling John. I'm glad that they were able to get such a great turn out for the presentation by George about V5H and it's effect on people. This was another great chapter.

This was another great chapter, interesting but great. I liked the way that everyone was in the apartment that Colin and Devon have at the VUN in Manhattan for Thanksgiving. Colin got up and got the attention of everyone and explained how the thanksgiving holiday came about and it's purpose, which is to give thanks for the things that you appreciate as well as family. Colin stated that everyone gathered there was considered to be family, even though they aren't related by blood, they're still family. I hope that with the help of Dragon they'll find other vampires who are wanting to be able to live a somewhat normal life again and are willing to go on the serum to do what it takes. I hope that the research that George is doing now will pay off for everyone with the VUN, and their families. I don't know what you have in mind for George but I hope it's not drastic. I loved your words at the beginning of the chapter for us readers, it just shows how much you appreciate us and the comments we make after reading the chapter.

I'm hoping that this new settlement on the moon will be able to work with the other space agencies about making room for the other agencies to put people in the new lunar base being constructed by the URP. I think that this is a great thing the URP is doing by building the new base on the moon. It would be nice if every space agency around the world would work together in order to bring the other agencies into a more cohesive partnership. Great chapter.
