I like the idea that George will have access to Nicolae for awhile now until the matter of Lucian & Iilya is done. It might be a great idea to offer Nicolae and Helga jobs at the VUN US, that way George would have access to Nicolae anytime. I hope that the VUN US and England are able to stop Iilya and Lucian with the plan that Devon is coming up with. I hope that Lucian, Iilya and their group don't have a way to make enough of the serum to be able to go out in the daytime although I think it wouldn't do much good because they would have to make enough of the serum for each person who they want to have it because of it having to be made strictly for each individual. I can't wait to see if Colin, Devon and their group are able to stop Iilya and Lucian from hatching their plan.

I wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the entirety of the of the Castaway Hotel series ,getting toknow Josh first then came Ricky then Danny and so on until the last boy to come into the mix was Jesse. I can't forget the newest addition to the to the family is Joshie who isthe son of Dion and Shelly, in order to be able to able to have the baby Shelly agreed along with her parents to let Dion and Trey raise Joshie as their son with the help of Josh who is caring for Joshie while his dad's complete their college education. I was glad to see that Josh's grown children came around to accept that Josh is happy sharing his life with Jake. Thanks for writing this wonderful book series.

I'm going to say along with the other people who said great job on the story. I feel like the three brothers have been extremely blessed by finding the right partners for each of them, Silas has Oscar, Daniel has Carlos, and Toby has Tara. Now that all three are married I hope that they can get on with their lives and put the past behind them, don't worry about what happened to you before concentrate on the here and now. I look forward to reading the next book you come out with.

Wow I didn't expect the move to be so easy, I mean I thought they'd have trouble getting out of Romania with Iilya on the loose and wanting to use the two old ones to make more vampires. I'm glad that Devon and Colin stayed in the container with the old ones, this kept them calm and not trying to get out. I hope the VUN can keep the cartoons going to keep them calm while they're at the VUN Headquarters in Manhattan. I can only hope that they can stop the attack that's being planned to take place on Halloween at Dracula's Castle. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter to see what happens next. I've been reading this book from the very first one and I was sitting here listening to music and the song "He ain't heavy he's my brother" came on and I got to thinking about the ways in which the boys do things to help their brothers, such as when Jesse came to live with them Andrew stepped up and took him under his wing so to speak. Even though Jesse couldn't or wouldn't talk didn't matter in least Andrew felt like he would be the best one for Jesse to stay with and Andrew would take care of him. True as soon as Andrew was hurt because of a prank that went wrong, when Andrew went into the ravine Jesse road his bike back home to get Josh to come with him only Josh thought he was just trying to get him to go with them on a bike ride. When Jesse couldn't get Josh to come with him Jesse finally spoke that Andrew was hurt. After that once Andrew got out of the hospital he started working with Jesse in order to help him learn to talk again. I'm glad that Josh stood up to the bigot who used to be a school board member who thought that he and his few followers were going to get the gay straight alliance thrown out of the school as they felt that it shouldn't be a school sponsored club because of the fact that they were going to be recruiting other students to become gay. I hope that they can get around the bigotry and continue to be an active club at school, this bigot doesn't believe that the rules of the Bible should be followed to the letter because the world has changed quite a lot over the centuries since the bible was written. I really love this series of books.

I have a feeling that this whole idea of Iilya being an innocent child who was made to be the killer he is, is just a whole lot of bull. Iilya might have been made to be a killer and that's all he is. I hope that Colin, Devon, George, Burke, and the rest of the VUN team make it out of Romania without losing anyone, I know that they're planning on bringing in the needed medical team they need for the vampires going on the serum as this is the week after the initial shot in the heart to get it started again. I'm glad that Devon had the idea of getting the old ones out of Romania to save them from being injured or killed and to keep them from killing anymore innocent people. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Another great book. Peter's an amazing young man who has become so close to the Currie family especially after inviting him to be an exchange student in the US and in the school system where Josh is the superintendent of the district. The request was made after Ricky spent a year in Australia and lived with Peter and his family during the time he was there. Ricky and Peter bonded quite a bit during the year Ricky was staying with Peter's family, so when Ricky came home to graduate with his class he made the request of Josh to see if he could see about bringing Peter over to where they live for the next school year. I think Ted is becoming very infatuated with Josh and the family after first coming to spend time with them so he could relax and feel free to be who & what he is. After they got to know them he was feeling better about being a gay teenager who was having trouble at home because his father couldn't come to accept him being gay. Another boy I think is infatuated with the Currie's is Barry, they met him and his family on a vacation where they were in canoes seeing a bunch of different lakes, after going on vacation with the Currie's I believe that he actually wishes he could stay there with them forever. Can't wait to start reading book 9.

Short chapter but very good. I liked that for Christmas Mitch and family along with Aunt Jean spent the day at his parents home and also there were some friends of Mitch's parents there that didn't care about Mitch's supposed sexual preference, this included the Shire president and his wife. During the day the shire president informed Mitch that Dave, the local fire chief and four others were terminated from the fire department and when some of the shire councilors started complaining and trying to get this action overturned they were informed that their positions were on the line. I wish Mitch and family the best of luck during the 5 years they'll be in the UK while Mitch is on temporary duty there. I hope there's going to be more to the story as we still don't have the answers to the gay issue.

Great great story. I like the way you write your stories because I feel like I'm in the story off to the side watching what everyone goes through during the story. I'm glad that Adam was able to find the officer who helped Dustin after the wreck that took the lives of his parents although he survived. I like how Dustin almost got back out the door of Derek's office when he saw Aaron except that Liam was behind him and blocked his escape. I understand why Dustin wanted to run away as he thought Aaron was there to take him back to the foster home which he'd ran away from due to things that have happened to him while he was there. After a couple of minutes Dustin ran into Aaron's arms and broke down crying. I hope Dustin will be happy living with Aaron and his sons. It seems like the foundation is starting to really starting to get up and running, as they now have a receptionist and a locked door that requires a swipe card in order to enter the offices. The foundation also has a few other employees as well.

I agree with drpaladin that Dave and the other firefighters including the chief shouldn't be allowed to come back to work at the fire station. The way I see it is they walked away because they didn't want to work under the command of Mitch all because they thought he was gay. His sexual preference shouldn't interfere with the duties of fire controller. As it turned out Mitch was the best man for the job as he was able to get the two trucks from Bindoon, as well as the two water fire bombers, not only these units but organized three or four other fire companies from the towns surrounding the fire area. I'm glad that Mitch was the one who the FESA made it official that Mitch was the fire controller for the fire, I think with the help of the fire chief from the town where the fire was both did a great job of getting control of the fire and had it totally contained in just under 24 hours. The only casualties from the fire appears to be three farms and a few other farm buildings. I wish Mitch and family the best of luck going back to the UK for five years, all because the command people were very impressed with the work Mitch did for them. Great story.

I'm glad that Vinnie is safe and back home. I hope that the reconciliation between Kevin and Vinnie lasts and they both have each other for a long time to come. I appreciate that Josh is a very understanding man and can forgive most infractions the boys may make, but then again that only goes so far. I wanted to let you know that I think this is a great story, it'd be great if someone could make it into a movie, but then I think the sex between the boys wouldn't be able to show itself. Onto the next book.

Another great chapter in the life of Mitchell Benning. I'm glad that Mitch and family members are all home in Perth, Australia. After all the trouble in Canada with the accommodations that the Canadian army arranged for Mitch and his family and the return to Australia because of the deplorable conditions of the apartments in which 4 other families on exchange with the Canadian Army, I'm sure they're all happy to be home. I see that Mitch is already back to duty and waiting for his orders from Colonel Harding. Mitch is in his office waiting for his new assignment to be given to him. Poor Tom comes out of his room after a good night's sleep dressed only in boxers and a tee-shirt when Mitch saw him and told him to go get dressed fully while pointing down to Tom's lower body, when Tom realized what the problem was he went to correct the problem. I like how Tom snapped to attention and saluted the Brigadier, I have a feeling that the Brigadier enjoyed having Tom do what he did. I can't wait to see what happens next for Mitch and the family.

It appears that the war on vampires is taking a turn for the worse. I hope that the VUN can get the vampires who are planning an attack on Halloween at Dracula's Castle and stop them from making a whole lot of new vampires that night. I believe that between the two vampires who are wanting to make more vampires and the vampire death squad the VUN is going to have their hands full. I wish them all luck in stopping this madness before it gets out of hand. Maybe they can get some more help from the English division of the VUN as they'll get more results that way. Great work on the story.

I think Mitch, his family and the other Australian service men and their families have the right idea that they all pack up and leave enmass. Mitch received a call from the Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia who advised him that he, his family and the other four service men and their families should pack up and head back to Australia and that all transport and freight costs will be covered by Australia. After Mitch told Angela about his call he called Les and arranged a meeting with all 5 of the families to discuss the details of the call and to get their take on the details of the call. Mitch called Brigadier Murdoch to let him know what was decided and all the families were there when Mitch told the Brigadier of the plans for all of them to leave enmass. I'm glad that Mitch did what he did by refusing the apartment that was being offered to him and his family. I liked the way Mitch said that something stinks and it isn't Simeon's nappy to the Canadian Foreign Minister, which caused a few ruffled feathers. Great job on the story I can't wait to see what happens next for the Australians as they prepare to leave and head home.

Another great addition to the Ian and Adam story. I like how they're starting to really get to know each other and talk has started about the idea of them becoming boyfriends exclusively. I'm glad that Patrick said that he doesn't care if Adam stays overnight at their house because it's not a bunch of different guys all the time, it's one guy who makes Ian happy, Patrick told Ian that he's very happy that Ian found someone to fill the void left when Ian's partner died. I hope that they can find a way to tell everyone about them being boyfriends. I love the whole story of Williams Love as well as the side stories which just helps us readers to get to know the other characters in the story. I hope that we get another chapter soon.

I have the utmost respect for the Currie's as they've had to deal with the loss of their loved ones in a very short period of time. I believe they've all done very well while some of them are showing their emotions while they grieve the loss of another brother while the rest of them are grieving in their own way. I feel that they're all feeling the loss more so now because of the fact that they knew ahead of time that Cody might not be coming home to them this time around, Cody's cancer had spread out to cover most of his lungs and on top of that he developed an infection in his brain and it spread out very fast as well. Graham has been a real trooper through this process thanks to the support of his dad and Kevin, and because of the fact that Cody had a nurse who would allow Graham to sleep with Cody while she was on the night shift, she had also allowed Graham the opportunity to wash Cody's sensitive areas when she was the one who was giving Cody his sponge bath. Kevin helped Graham with the grieving process since he went through it when Brent died. I'm glad that all of the boys were able to contribute to the service for Cody in their own way, such as Dion asking for the honor of singing the hymn selection and Josh asked if he would be willing to have the children's chior to be the back up singers, Trey wrote a very moving eulogy for Cody even though it didn't mention Cody by name everyone got the message, Graham also wrote something for Cody, Vinnie got the privilege of reading the 23rd psalm at the beginning of the service, the rest of the brothers were pallbearers except Andrew who had drawn two pictures of Cody one was done in charcoal, the other a water color showing Cody in color. I hope that by doing what they did for Cody will allow all of the boys achance to grieve and to heal somewhat, they didn't have the same ability when Brent died as Josh wasn't thinking clearly then. I can't wait to see what happens next for the family after the emotional time they're sure to deal with after their loss. I will say that these last few chapters have been very emotional for me reading about the battle Cody waged against the cancer that invaded his body.

I must admit that I didn't get the deal with Sorin, I mean he's supposed to be this tough no nonsense type of guy and yet he's starting to get the reason why the secrecy for the real reason they're here in Romania. I guess any things possible when you are looking for someone who isn't supposed to exist, as Sorin has been learning. Now if they could find the ones that are remaining well hiddeny. It appears that the more Sorin's around the VUN the more he's catching on to the things that the group's trying to accomplish by getting all of the vampires on the serum. Halloween is going to be a very busy night as long as Lucian and Iilya are out there turning more people into vampires just so they could build an army hell bent on proving that Colin, Devon, George and the rest of the VUN are there to destroy or kill all of the vampires. I'm glad that Dr Petran is willing to learn all she can in order to help with the ongoing search for more vampires who are wanting to be able to have a much more normal life than they have now, wake up feed and make sure they're back in hiding from the sun and then do it again every night. I love this chapter and story as they try to catch the vampires who are wanting to get the serum and then be more human than they've been for a long time. Thanks for continuing the story, I look forward to reading each chapter as soon as it's available.

I want to say thank you for including the information about Cody and what he's going through for a cure or even a very long period of remission. I'm proud of the brothers all saying that they wanted to be tested if it meant that Cody could get better soon and not die like Brent did even though it would be different for each of them, one as a result of an accident and the other from disease. I'm also proud of Jake by saying that he wanted to be included in the list of those who wanted to be tested. I truly believe that if everyone who is able to give something to someone who has a need for it then I feel like they would want to give what they can as long as they're alive. Organ donation as well as bone marrow donation is something I believe in very strongly as my son is a recipient of a kidney thanks to my sister who made a promise to him and kept that promise even if she had to fight with a doctor who wanted to stop the process for a second time for an issue that had been resolved prior to being allowed to go ahead with the surgery. I for one can never repay her for saving my son's life when it came down to either get a transplant or be dead by the end of the year. She stepped in and basically got the process started in order for her to donate a kidney for him and he's done very well as this year was a 12 year anniversary of the donation and we were told when he was being tested that the average on a kidney is 10 years, he's surpassed that and is doing well.

I think it's great that Josh heard the fire alarms going off and discovered that a home near him was on fire. Josh and Jake jumped in the van and drove to the location and soon discovered that the has three children and they used to be students of Josh's, after seeing that the house was a total loss, Josh told them that they were going to stay at the Castaway Hotel and he wasn't taking no for an answer. After they all got back to the house Josh and Jake went around and did some moving of the boys although there was some minor grumbling the boys knew it was for a good cause. Once everyone was situated and as Josh lay in bed with Graham and Cody watching each of them through out the night he thought of a few things he could do to help the family as it was almost Christmas and they had lost everything in the fire. Josh asked Jake if he would mind taking the parents to get some things for their children and Josh took the kids to get some things for their parents as well, then he took the family to look at a house that he knew was for rent he explained that if they liked the house they would be able to live there for a few months while they settled everything from their own home. The only thing that stopped them from moving in right away was that the furniture wouldn't be able to be delivered until the day after Christmas so Josh told them that they would stay at his home until after the furniture is delivered. I'm glad that the Castaway Foundation is going to help the family as that was the purpose of the foundation in the first place, the foundation is going to pay for six months rent on the house for them and it's also paying for what else they needed to make it their own. I thank God that Josh was able to be there for this family and I'm sure that no one in his family or the extended family would be angry at him for opening up his home for the family after what they've been through. Thank you for your writing of this story and putting in this chapter as it shows that there is compassion still in the world and it comes via the Castaway Foundation and Josh Currie and family.

I have to agree with everyone commenting about this being a great chapter. I'm glad that Anton, family, and friends are hopefully all safe from the cartel now that so many arrests have been made. I think the video of Anton telling the story about how they got the yacht back into the Pacific Ocean after the storm sent them onto the island just off the shore of Johnston Atoll, once he found out later that he was recorded by a young man by the name of Daniel Kenneth. I'll have to wait patiently for the next chapter to come out so I can read it.

I loved the chapter. I hope Anton knows what he's doing because the cartel could still have people around to take care of problems like Anton, Neale, Jedd & Marcus, possibly Simon too. I hope Anton can get caught up with his studies as he's been out of school for a while now. I'm glad that Anton asked Jasper to take over guardianship of Neale and Jedd until either Marcus is well enough to take it on again or until Anton becomes old enough to be their guardian. I hope that Marcus gets better soon as I don't know if Anton could handle another death so soon after his mom's.

Another great chapter. I think this nightmare isn't over yet even with the arrest of the reporter and editor the stories still out there that says that they have evidence of drug smuggling by a South American drug cartel and it's gone world wide already. How are they going to be safe until this blows over, I know that they're aboard the the Frontier and they're anchored in a bay surrounded by beautiful coral islands, my dilemma is that this might not even be a secure location. How is Marcus doing was this another heart attack brought on by the things Anton and Simon found in Anton's stepfathers paperwork after their mom died in the car wreck similar to the one that took her husband's life.

I'm loving this series, with the highs and lows of the family you feel like you're going through these times with the family. I can't wait to continue to read more of the series in order to see if Josh does take in new boys and continues to grow his family even more. I hope that Josh takes a chance at continuing the job of superintendent of the district, I think it would be great for him and taking the advice given to him by his friend who has said that the majority of the community are hoping to get him to stay in the job. I believe that by delegating the jobs that are the most stressful to people who he trusts, would be great for him to make it easier for him and his family. I think it would be a great way for him in order to have the time to spend with the boys and Jake as well. I truly believe in the gift that Graham has because he has an ability to see the other side of life and with the help of Brent he has been able to get messages from the other side and deliver them to the right people. The last one was so special because of the doubts that Josh was feeling about whether or not he is doing the right thing for the boys, he got his answer straight from the ones who have crossed over to the other side they gave their whole support for Josh showing that what he's doing for the boys is the right thing for them all.

I don't blame Cole about not wanting to go with his biological mother at any time after her abandoning them with no food and no one to look after them. I think it would be great for them to tell her that she is not wanted by the boys and that their adamant about this position. I agree with Josh in that when he got the boys they were not in the best of conditions as they went hungry for the majority of the time after they were left to their own devices. When Cole and Graham came to the Castaway Hotel they were basically all skin and bones and it took a lot of work to get them to where they were able to overcome the malnutrition. I hope Josh sticks to the fact that she has no rights to be near the boys much less try to be a family again.
