Would you be upset to come in and find your horses water bucket green slimy and covered with a film of oil and dirt? .. Yes! Would you complain to the barn owner, since speaking to the barn hands has done no good? ... Yes, of course. Would you take offence in being told you are being bitchy for complaining about this situatiion for the 3rd time in as many months? ... Yes. And if it's the business owner telling me that ... i'd tell him/her they were a moron. People wont put up with that crap for their beloved animals!! Maybe they should stop paying for service they don't get. Last two times they cleaned properly till i stopped inspecting the buckets daily and went back to topping off dirty buckets. ... People do not care about anything...lazy bastards.

OH, if you are watching Netflix... DO not bother with Criminal UK. Utter crap. One of the writers is George Kay .. who wrote an episode or two for the The Tunnel, amongst other things... so i was surprised at just how bad this was. It was typical with cop dramas ... nearly zero reality when it comes to people's rights and procedure. They do as they please ... the end justifies the means. We watched all three ... and Katharine Kelly ... lord she is not a good actor, but she proved it in this mess. Michael was in fits ... he hated it more than i did.

oh don't get me wrong.. i tease him, but i'm happy, he and his hubby could get away. Wayne has a busy and stressful job especially right now, so i am truly happy he can escape for a bit. i am grateful for you guys and of course, my Husband.

It is. It does have to come to pressure which can take time depending on the amount of liquid you have. We have the 6 quart which is good for Michael and me. When it is working, it is not 'on' all the time so it uses less electricity. Actually, Wayne says it is recommended for people who live off the grid because of that. Learning to cook with it is different but not hard to master once you do a few things.

Most meat in the IP is great. Ground beef in chili, spag sauce is great. I made meat loaf one day ... never again. I did not like the slimy texture.. that needs to go in the oven. I love cooking pasta and rice in there because i dont need to watch it, it doesnt stick or boil over. The house stays cool. Things taste better.. i've done lots of veg in it. Broccoli and cauliflower on zero minutes .. root veg takes minutes. Squash is amazing. Food cooked in the IP (pressure cooker) retains more of its goodness than boiled. It does have a lot of good points.

i don't belong to it but there are tons of recipes on various facebook InstantPot groups. Here this one is weird Don't say i didn't warn you!! I do not like the IP for everything. It is a great tool and for brown rice, pasta, making stock, beans from dry, spaghetti sauce, chili, stews etc., it is amazing. I've made some great stuff in it and i would replace mine if it was necessary but it is just a tool.

He would tell you just put them on and go. Screw other people and what they think. Are you living your life or theirs? i think i'm fairly safe in saying that's fairly close to what He'd say. i think the same really, if you feel too warm, put on shorts and go. He feels warm/hot most of the time even in winter, when i sit with a blanket, He is in shorts. And of course i believe the 'praying' thing ... how else you mess up your knees? Hahaha

It was very warm the other night so i just made a salad plate ... we had things to use up so i made hard boiled eggs, we had ham and turkey breast as well, added tomato, sliced peppers, dressed romaine lettuce, baby cucumbers and i keep nice little whole wheat rolls in the freezer so we had one of those (thawed). it hit the spot.

If it helps, my Husband wears shorts all year round at home.

Breezy and 20c/68f here atm. Humidity is low... so yeah. I have a bowl of flour, water and yeast rising on the counter for no-knead focaccia from my fav food blogger. I made the 50% whole wheat version ... we will have that with dinner tonight and some will go in the freezer.

There are some nice decaf coffees out there. i've tried decaf tea but would rather die than drink them, just awful. The peach tea from David's is very nice but it has no 'tea' in it, so no caffeine. i'm not usually one for herbal things much but that stuff is very good.
