I know right? i said to Michael, if we'd been there and saw that, we 'd have turned around and gone elsewhere or home. Crazy.
It's gotten very dark and windy here .. how's things out your way, @Reader1810 ?
Hmmm, Michael's birthday is coming up ... the breakfast thing is giving me some ideas! This was a nice bridging chapter, as you say, all stories need them now and again. It let us take a collective breath.
i don't want schlep back and forth to the office anymore. we're having to do a lot of testing about what we can access from home and lots of privacy forms and stuff. i hope that's what it all means. something they had me do... sent up flares.. and i got a massive and instant message: 'you better not do that again, dickhead' from Security. It was a test, so fine .. but yikes.
Love is easier ... and you're sweet. And you're right... parents that reject us, miss out on our love, talent and uniqueness. How sad for them ... all of you.. are all flowers in my garden of people i love.
I don't think i've ever really written a 'real' letter. I'm trying to think ... i don't recall one, unless it was when i was a kid. Maybe to thank my grandparents for a birthday or Christmas gift. Possibly then.
This chapter is giving me a lot of trouble as I debated if the breaking down of Sojourner is way too early or not. Don't be surprise the structure might change in the final version of the story.
It's not too early ... little glimpses of what's happening are realistic and good. I find this piece of yours touching, readable and very interesting.
Parents ... they did love me once. For the most part i think they do love us, but they do not understand. Maybe we are moving toward more understanding of our Gay/LGBTQ children. I hope so for their sake.
All letters will add up, so do check back previous letters (or future letters) if something doesn't make sense in the current letter.
We'd better hope Perfect Stranger hangs on to all of his then, eh?
