Three days later, Trewhella, and two of his men, watched the rear of Farriver’s Supply. At about 6am, the upstairs door opened, and Smeeth descended the staircase to the street. Then he opened the rear entrance of the store. The mercenary waited five minutes and then quietly mounted the stairs climbing up to the apartment door. We've been writing well. Very nearly finished chapter 8.. had to take some time for some planning and research. But i feel confident saying we will be onto chapter 9 this week. BTW, we are not only writing 1,000 word chapters ...

maybe she's got a tender tummy... see what your vet thinks ... we had to give ours a snack at night to keep food in his stomach.. if she's not eating sometimes plain poached chicken breast works.

I don't think our part time dog is that bright. He's lovely but a bit of a dunce, so he's never thought of tipping his bowl over. But yes.. if they are spread out they can only pick up one at a time...lol

Yeah, like @Kitt said. Our part-time dog we used to look after has to have a special dish like this: so he can't gobble. There's all sorts of shapes so talk to the vet or visit a good pet store.

Readers for the most part are here to read. Not help us improve. Nothing wrong with that and mostly it's all good. That's the big draw on GA, the interactions with others. It's brilliant. I love the comments readers leave. But there really is no book or magic beans or contract with the devil which will make you a better writer. So how to improve? First you need some talent for the written word. Second and maybe the biggest thing is: Authors have to improve themselves. It is lonely, hard and soul tearing work. How do we improve? We do that by reading. Everyday. We do that by paying attention to writers we like. We listen to our editor and beta readers. My editor, told me. He is skilled and has been writing for years. And i listened, and i worked. And you write. And write and write and write and then write some more. And you read your work and say, "Gah, that is shit." It is not your child, or baby, it is your work. And if your work is crap, you throw it out and you do it again. That's how authors who want to, improve.

i have a feeling you know exactly what i'm talking about.. so i'm not gonna say anything!
