    It was weird. Yeah they are very serious about it. Signs every where .. all seating is removed. Hand santizer and paper towels to open doors with, ATMs are all covered so you cannot use them. My manager is a nice guy .. but not a very good manager. It's all resolved and i know what to do should this happen again. xoxo

    @chris191070 @rickproehl @Kitt @mollyhousemouse @Reader1810 All fixed. Yeah, i am not impressed with how my manager has (again) handled this. After getting 'help' from him, and doing all he told me to and it not working.. i did what i always seem to have to and i sent the details to my manager and c.c'd his boss. I got zero reply from him and a response in under 10 minutes from her. Wow the Contact Centre is nearly empty. Signs everywhere about covid and social distance.. saw like 10 people. So weird.

    Dennis, the Employee IT Manager, did. We sat down, he did his thing... i signed on etc. He said because our laptops are Win 8.1 rather than 10, he had to do this in person. If they are going to keep us at home.. maybe an upgrade would be a smart thing. We'll see. For now, i am working and did my two hours of OT i'd planned for today.

    You shouldn't. You're writing a story, Harlan isn't you. He's a character. It's a testament to your ability that i feel like i do. I may change my mind, but i've known real life 'family' members and posted a piece about a little meeting with them on GA. So, that's something I'll never be likely to forget. I believe people can change, if they want to and in some cases, are given the opportunity to. So, we'll see about Harlan.

    You know i like your writing. i do not like Harlan for many reasons. But i understand the 'family' dynamic, they have their own set of rules, rather like inmate 'justice'. It's seems okay but underneath it is dirty, evil and wrong. He may care for certain people but have no problem killing others. He has little compartments where he puts things, to make it right in himself. I understand that very well. Trusting Harlan is like trusting your pet cobra.

    Thanks, drought. Mmmm, not really a meal, think of their snack as the ocean's version of McDonalds. Seaweed i have had in salad at some restaurant, which i didn't enjoy and unlike my Husband and nephew Peter, i'm not a huge fan of sushi because of it. Maybe fresh from the ocean it would be different ... That's for reading and your comments.

    i'll take an uber down there and see Dennis ... we go thru a VPN so something gotten confused in the back ground and because i cannot log on and get to the vpn to get into the bank network.. i need to go in so i can get to the network. it should be ok.

    Well, after numerous texts, and emails and telephone calls, it was decided they cannot fix my laptop and that i have to take into the office. I need to see the employee IT manager, Dennis. That's tomorrow.. on my day off. This only happened because i emailed my senior manager ... pissed off and frustrated.

    oh, that's cool Reader! Honestly, i've given up wondering why things just happen ... like why our stereo which is always on the same radio station suddenly switches itself to iphone mode, or just turns itself on. Like the other night we were watching TV and suddenly it was on. The Xbox does that too ... turns itself on. It's very weird. We will go for groceries tomorrow, once i finish my overtime. Assuming that i can even log on to my computer.

    It's out of my hands .. so i've been reading. Yesterday i had a couple of naps, drank coffee. Been watching Strike, which is from the Strike series of novels by Robert Galbraith who is JK Rowling in real life. The show is pretty good.

    i cannot sign on .. .so texted my boss again... like i did at 10am yesterday and said... i cannot log onto my computer. Yesterday, he said okay to all my messages. Today he said.. so, you mean you can't log on to your computer? Yes!!! yes ... did i not write that in English yesterday? Geez. WTF.

    it is rare that i wash dishes ... i cook, so Michael usually does the dishes. But i do get in there to do them or clean. i don't know, it feels like there is order inside me, when the kitchen and house are tidy. Thanks for the thoughtful poem. xo

    3.5 hours of waiting ... still nothing from work.

    I'd love to but i am at work. They got it fixed ... so i worked a couple of hours.. then i logged off for my break. When i went to log back on .. nope. Not with the new password, the old one, or the temporary one they gave me earlier. Seriously. I have never had such issues before. It's been two hours now since i said i couldn't get on. This all started when they had me change the VPN registration and password. Somewhat frustrated, ATM.

    After a fun afternoon yesterday and part of this morning trying to get my work laptop working ... it is finally. And so am i.
