Oh... Michael and i went for a walk ... it's very windy, but sunny and blue sky, chilly though. But i've not been outside for a week, so i was going no matter what. It felt like christmas or a trip. I was so excited to be going out. We met a friend on the way back with her dogs .. we said hi to them but didn't pet the pups (or her) but wow, it was exciting to talk to someone else! And it turned out to be Christmas.. because work sent me a $50 gift card for groceries! Which was very nice! I hope you all have managed to have a good day!!

i will too. Negative self-talk is very easy, the positive is harder. Sometimes we need to hear it from others in order to let ourselves believe it and practice it. we can only do the best we can. -
no idea about the laundry ... ours doesn't do that. Dishes are a constant thing - i suppose we could just stand at the counter and eat outta the pan. LOL

Just cuz society values them doesnt mean they are good or right. Im sure thats what Michael means. If we learn anything from this i hope we learn that. I hope we learn to see value in each life. Because right now too many do not.

Lord no! You never have ... Sometimes even when you're in a dark spot, if someone reaches out to you, offering your hand back, helps you get out of that place. We look to help them, more than thinking of ourselves.

Yeah it's hard ... you likely hear from lots of people at work.. you deal with my whinging which i appreciate. I think reaching out on here with people is helpful. Yes, this lockdown has been hard, but we need to remember why we're doing it, what could have happened if we hadn't done it, and maybe it's made some of us appreciate our community, our brothers and sisters on this planet, more.

Glad they found the cause. That was the reason for lots of deaths here. Other than one home where they've had zero cases/deaths. Because the director said you can work at one place only. They hired another housekeeper and staff had PPE. Hope your mom stays safe and healthy. I hope Lily gets through it.

i always use a 9x13 pan.. but add more milk and eggs.. cuz we like ours custardy.
