i couldn't publish either of those poems as my own, even though i asked for them. The only word in there that's mine is 'rain'. i've been rather loathe to write much of anything considering what people are looking for and at. i'm kinda paranoid and put stuff on word to check if my work sounds like someone else's

You have to do you. I have a lot of doctors, many use computers and a few use paper. I frankly don't care as long things are recorded and correct and i get what i need. simple as that

You're right of course. I was at a doctor's appt this morning. He wrote notes on his computer while i sat talking with him. With his own words and fingers. Amazing. lol

yeah it has 'tells' and i stopped using grammarly but it can check for those tells it seems. I use a very good option that is an extension on firefox https://languagetool.org/ I'm not sure if it can check or not Yeah i mean it's one thing to look for information another to have it write the whole damn thing.

very nice ... i sometimes wish we lived in Europe or the UK ... it takes hours for us to get anywhere here. lol It takes over an hour to get downtown...longer to get to the airport.

Could be .. chatgpt will write a whole story for you or a synopsis. Just give it a few basics and it will pop out a story for you in no time.

Thanks, it was a long time ago.. i was 15... she did have a beautiful garden ... she loved roses, but her garden was full of everything.. and every year she'd get more. there was always room for one more.

You don't need to suffer the same to write about it. You have imagination, input of others; research. You did a great job with this. My late mother was a gardener, that's what first drew me to read this. We had a mock orange in the front yard.

Who hates them??? i'm supposedly good at kicking people out, so just point them out to me, and they are gone. You can see from my profile pic there is a dog there. This is from a mug i own, and there is another mug from the same artist with a lovely dachshund on it, on my shelf. I got that one for Michael, who is a fan of them.

Good morning. i've been up for hours... about four, and it's now 8am. Lovely. Supposed to be a stinker heat-wise today. Stay cool! I think there's a nap in my future and Michael is doing dinner, so a lazy day for this boy. Have a terrific Thursday...i have an early doc's appointment tomorrow, which is always a joy. Ugh... Meanwhile, it is... ...so look after yourselves!

Hope you all have a nice Wednesday ... our warmer weather will be back again.. but i've enjoyed these cool ones. I didn't sleep too well, but i got some. I'm still working on the afghan motifs.. i think i have 40+ at the moment. In between i'm making a runner for Peter, a blanket and snowflakes to hang on the tree. I should look up some other ornaments to make. Here are two of the snowflakes. The white one is size 4 /worsted weight yarn and the small one is the yarn i reclaimed from the doily LOL. For any who want details. a 4mm hook was used on the large one and 2.5mm hook on the small. The large is 3 inches across and the small is just under 2 inches.

It's time to go to bed. But my ghosts are haunting me tonight, and i don't fancy sleeping with them. My brain is restless and relentless. I bought Stephen King's latest book ... maybe i'll start that. Perhaps i'll get some peace then.
