Okay. So, Andy gets onto Mr.Black's boat. He shoves his guards into the ocean and races through the ship, checking all the rooms. Finally, he finds the prisoners. Andy manages to untie them all. They are confused and scared, but Andy convinces them by showing them his bag of paper and pencils and saying that he's a good guy. They nod and decide to follow this new guy. Andy hollers, they must leave now. They follow him down the corridor, but they stop because there is a lot of yelling from the upper decks. Andy kicks open a locked door on his left, and luckily, they have stumbled onto the armoury. By some accident of fate, the gun racks are not locked. How fortunate because the baddies are getting closer. One of the lads hands out AKs to each of them. Another lucky turn is that they all know how to load and fire these weapons. Phew. A massive battle ensues, but our hero and his band of boys prevail. They get to the rear of the ship and pile onto the two RIBS that are tied there. As they head back to shore, Andy notices one guy. The guy is Matt, and their eyes meet. And the rest is history. A few months later, Andy and Matt decide to marry on Windy Island, where they live happily ever after. Is this what you had in mind?

Okay, then a weird, romantic (just a lil), nightmare.
-
Sounds a little Nightmare on Elm Street-ish. I said weird ... So, it sounds like a romantic, weird, nightmare so far.

Happy Wednesday! I'm enjoying all the regional weather reports! Ours for Scarborough, Ontario, where I am, is 80ish, feeling like 90ish, with possible light rain showers later. That said, I wish everyone could relate to this, but I know not everyone will. Personally, I think it's just a little on the weird side, but it's what the Green Man of the Universe sent me today. Make of it what you will!

Andrew awoke in the familiar embrace of his old room. The softness of the thick flannel sheets against his skin, a sensation he had missed, brought a wave of nostalgia. 'I may roll over and go back to sleep for an hour. I don't need to leave until much later,' he thought, rolling back and forth to cocoon himself further within the warm linens. After dozing a little longer, Andy squinted as sunlight streamed in here and there, finding spaces in the heavy draperies. What would come that nig

Tuesday ... Have a good one. Just sayin' there are either a lot of coincidences in my life, or a little green man is sitting at his office in the Universe listening. Whatever there is, it's okay. Have a good one, the lot of you.

Have a good week, honey. xo

okay 2.5 litres of pickles done. With luck that will get us through the summer. Time to do some editing.
-
Yes, i've done mixed pickles.. cucumber, onion, carrots and cauliflower. I've not added tomato, however my mum used to make a side dish in the summer with thick slices of a beefsteak tomato and slices of sweet onion in a water/vinegar mix. That was excellent.
-
No, Michael doesn't like garlic pickles or hot things, so I just stick with the plain vinegar ones. They are great on their own. Thanks though, rick! I'm glad you enjoy yours with the garlic!

Happy Monday! It's one of those days when I have zero idea what I'm going to do. A walk is on the agenda first, right after breakfast, I think. Oh, and making some fridge pickles is next after that. The cauliflower, carrot, cucumber, and onion-mixed ones were a hit. Have a great day, no matter what you're up to.

Authors wouldn't be a whole lot without readers. Everyone is welcome here. We all love to share our weather issues...feels nice here at the moment. Enjoy it while we can!

There's knowing when, but will there be opportunity? I'm not sure about that, but maybe. I've never studied this, so I looked up Aristotle's definition after seeing your comment this morning. Based on my own experiences, we are capable of both good and evil. I think that most of us would rather do the right things. So, I believe you're right; Dante is still morally grounded to some extent.

Thank you Anton_Cloche. Love this! I'm happy you're enjoying the story. More to come on Wednesday!

It's nearly 11:30 and its 64F with 93% humidity. Everything feels cool and damp. But it's better than all of last week.

Hi Terry P., thanks for your comment. I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. I know what you mean; there could be a lot of ups and downs, good and bad, in this. I hope you enjoy the rest; I appreciate you stopping by to leave your thoughts!

Sometimes, you meet people who touch you in some way, often when you least expect it. Perhaps that's what happened between D and Matt. There will be more coming up on Wednesday. Thanks for reading and your comments, Cane23.
