About time some one gives it straight to Justin. Hate is a terrible thing and does awful things to the person holding that hate. I don’t recall it being mentioned before but he is probably still holding onto everything that happened to him with his dad and the abuse and never had counseling then. Calebs ideas were were great for the cookie distribution surprised a teenager was so conscientious of waste or plastic pollution I know there are a lot of youths now days more conscious of those things but I think Caleb taking on a business well thinking of making money and still thinking about the environment at the same time wonderful. I understand Edward just wanting it over with but I think I would have checked into things more and maybe had more of a discussion of the procedures available. And I don’t believe there will be any ravaging going on under the tree if his surgery is scheduled for the 20th minimally invasive doesn’t mean instantly healed. @ReaderPaul I get what your saying. But these are supposed to be adults and 2 wrongs don’t make a right. Edward has been around longer then Justin especially where Craig is concerned so why is every against Edward and all supporting Justin? Why is it Edward needs a nudge and not Justin? I just can’t believe no one has said anything to Justin about how he is acting aside from some soft comments from Craig.

I just can’t believe everyone took Justins side… The whining sniveling baby. At this point I wish Jared would have survived and him and Justin disappeared together. Or I wish somehow Craig finds out what was going on between them. Or wait was Edward so observant that he figured out what was going on and wrote about that hence what Justin is so over worked about? That still doesn’t explain everyone else acting like arses.

Okay I get it Edward made a mistake but boy is everyone blowing this all out of proportion. So Justin has a problem with Edward and I guess Edward made some mistakes in his writing a beta reader would have been good but he was new to writing and was told or had read to write what you know. I still think that everyone is over reacting What happened to forgiveness I mean he has apologized and now the story is offline yes it should have happened sooner but there were some issues there with Edward’s health. Hmm seems Caleb missed the mark there with Lucas. Thankfully Gran won’t be riding on the back of Caleb’s cycle that could have gone very wrong.

Hmm this could be dealing with many things, Diagnosis I believe will be Edward and his psa results. Not sure about the rest. Francesco opens up a bit about what’s been happening with some of the other men in the circus but who pt the men onto him to begin with? If he would say something a lot of people could be in some major trouble. I don’t think Jack would have to worry about a replacement act then even if they claimed they didn’t know they were supposed to be responsible for him as fosters. Gran and Caleb are always a delight.

@haines87 He should know about the laws however its a family ran business and who knows how long the others have been with him they may not know much better then anyone else if its all they've known. I mean I am sure Jack is paying the others better then he was Francesco but probably not as much as they should be getting either. And we know he is evading tax for any cash that comes in because it was stated Jack rather deal with cash payments because Credit/Debit cards he has no way to hide so we know hes dishonest. But as the saying goes Ignorance of the law is no excuse and will not protect you from legal proceedings.

It took a while but they finally got there in the end. I am hoping things go well for them and Naith is able to see Annie when he wants too. I am thinking Naith's mom will come to terms with the relationship even if she can't fully endorse it for the sake of her child/children and grandchild I think she will be a part of their lives. I still feel that there should have been a paternity test for Annie. And that Naith should go for full custody or at least better visitation rights. You can they love each other fiercely. Is there going to be an epilog or another book? Hopefully but it is what it is. Q

It seems Eric is getting better at communicating there were some rough patches but it seems once they really got into a subject it went well. Eric can be polite and he waited for Rob before eating even tho Rob was late. I am thinking over all the meet up went well and look forward to see what both thought and their next meet up. So we finally see for sure Rob’s new case is in fact Eric’s vandal hopefully Rob is able to help the teen and he is able to be as happy as possible. Wow still an arse he’s not going to fool me again. Minimum wage 10 years ago and only an hours pay for his 15 minute act? That is bull pucky… Francesco’s act may be only 15 minutes but what about all the daily training and prep for the shows circus life is an all day every day vocation he should have been paid for a full work week at least. Julia surely wasn’t happy with that Hannah has a plan I bet. Also all the money paid to them from DOCS should be given to him as it seems they weren’t doing a proper foster job. Jack even says Francesco was independent so they just let him go on his own. Jack better not give the girls any more reason they could completely ruin him. He’s so into his circus I bet he’s not even aware of everything the ladies could nail him on. Hmm where are Caleb and Gran going? What are Francesco sharing, a van we know, hopefully conversations, would be good for Francesco to open up and get some things off his chest… thinking in gentlemanly callers. @Wombat Bill great chapter looking forward to the next.

I’ve been late to the party the last 2 or 3 chapters, my mom has been in the hospital since Sunday mostly for observation due to having chest pain and pressure all test came back great and she was released yesterday it’s been not a good few weeks my sister just also recently got out of rehab after having a stroke she is also now doing fairly well. But I’ve just been worn out. Jack is an arse and I regret my slight misjudgment of slight forgiveness of him, as far as I’m concerned I hope Francesco decides not to go back for the farewell shows and Jack gets all kinds of hell because of his advertising. However we probably know that’s not going to happen and it would mean the end of livelihoods for a bunch of people that don’t deserve it. As James is in school I don’t think it would be possible for him to travel with the circus even for a short time but I guess we shall see, I am thinking that maybe Wanda is thinking about a monetary incentive to get him to come back until a replacement can be found and since he s the headline act it would have to be a sizable amount. At least if I was Francesco that’s the only way I would go. I wouldn’t want to be facing Hannah and Julia Jack is threatening them but they have a legal means to shut him down I am sure that there is all kinds of legalities that circus has broken as was stated in a prior chapter Jack preferred working with cash which means bookwork would be all skewed and all else it would take is for some of the other employees at that point is to talk. Could be a big lawsuit if that happened. And Julia and Hannah are just the people to spearhead something like that. The teaser for the next chapter is very open ended @ReaderPaul had a few suggestions as to whom that could concern another possibility is perhaps Justin had a change of heart and it’s concerning Justin and Romel or Justin and Edward. @Summerabbacat I do sometimes tend to look for the good or redeeming qualities in people but fool me once shame on you fool me again shame on me Jack fooled me once not again and I wholeheartedly agree he’s an arse. We knew Francesco wasn’t being given love or any type of friendship in the circus we saw it every time James visited him there to paraphrase “we again ate in the circus food tent sat at a table by ourselves people passing would nod or say hi and move on.” And James always found Francesco alone training. No wonder when he met the family he started having doubts and wanted to leave and go where the love is. Q

Okay thats more like it. I expected Francesco to stay behind. He is only 17 if I recall but was soon to turn 18 we had read in a discussion between Jack and Candy. I can't remember how long it was but was thinking it wasn't too long and at that point there is nothing Jack and Candy can do. He was just being used in the circus anyway no reason he should feel inclined to stay. Candy Talking to her husband. “OK, but we do have to sort this Francesco issue. Do you realise he will be eighteen early next year. Then you won’t be able to tell him who he can visit or not. He can even leave the circus if he chooses” In chapter 29 Mixed News.

Hmm. I’m surprised Francesco isn’t leaving the circus oh but I guess he isn’t eighteen just quite yet. Alex sure was a shock never expected him too be a Circus person.

Okay now I am so over Justin he is being such a dick and a baby about the whole damn thing. I can’t believe none of the others have come down on him for his childish behavior and over reaction. I’m sorry but no matter how mad you are at someone you don’t wish death on them. I am glad to see Edward still alive and not contemplating suicide I had to chuckle when Edward explained what happened don’t know how many pills I have lost down a drain when they come in those packets due to long term diabetes i have developed neuropathy in my hands and they are so not good with those types of med packets.

@ReaderPaul It wasn't specifically mentioned that it was a gay site, however I am assuming it was since I am sure the story is dealing with multiple gay characters I could be wrong however.

@Summerabbacat Yes thats pretty much what I meant as well not so much the infidelity but the whole cover up lies and schemes to get away with it. Also was thinking I bet Justin his just burned a lot of bridges when people find out that the blow up from Justin's public confrontation and his comment on Edwards story is the reason for Edward to have attempted to take his life he is going to lose a lot of friends. For his sake if anything he better hope Edward was not successful. Edward means a lot to the group and they love him like a father/mother figure over the group. I for one would be dropping Justin as a friend.

I've not much cared for Justin ever since he met Jared anyway and now I just about very highly dislike him. His cheating on Craig which pretty much made Justin successful turning around and cheating on him with his own brother.... I've mentioned it before but a lot of these guys need to learn to keep it in their pants unless its with their own partner.

Yup I had mentioned this myself in the last chapter comments. That I assumed this was going to a gay author website for publication and not many aside from the CWB group would know the whole story behind it. So sad to see Justin losing his temper over something so trivial. And so so sad to see how it has led to Edwards distress. Romel probably didn't help the way he went off on Edward in the car either.

OMG Stupid fight Justin you big dumb arsehole you over reacted and now you will have something to haunt you for the rest of your life if Edward dies. Some one needs to grow the F up. Revenge is never the way to go. And Craig is absolutely correct Hate only causes grief for the person Hating.

I’m late to the party this chapter it seems I actually slept straight thru last night. @Summerabbacat You are correct, Dean and Andy told the ladies they wanted time to think on it. And then later told each other they had no mind to help them. @Wombat Bill has done it to me again last chapter I commented that I thought the guys went behind each other’s back and both attempted to help the girls. It seems we don’t exactly know how it happened with Andy but Dean certainly wasn’t a willing partner as he was asleep. I can’t believe they are still in communication with them after this episode and even showed up with flowers and congratulations. I would be so mad and would be finding a way to sue or get them into some type of legal trouble it was basically rape in Deans case. I’m also along with others disappointed in Edward, he had thoughts or no I guess that’s not right a couple people told him he shouldn’t write something about friends like that. So in the least he should have let Justin know or ask and perhaps have him beta read the story. And I agree I can’t believe he didn’t pick up on Justin’s discomfort. I also think tho that Justin is over reacting a bit I mean I’m assuming this is published to a gay author website so aside from the group I’m sure most people would never put it together with Justin’s family. I mean there have to be other gays in their city but what are the chances all of them read gay online stories or personally know that was Justin’s family. Over all a great chapter looking forward to the next. Q

Where to start lol. Loved this chapter it was so funny. The conversation between Francesco and Candy so much could be seen as double entendre was hilarious. But goes to show also the issue Francesco can have with communicating. It was stated he was home schooled but that didn’t give him the social aspect. Hmm, Guess Andy and Dean both behind each other’s back tried the dark side. A lot of us seemed to have been wrong about what happened that night. Caleb is such a treat and I love his comedic wit in conversation, kinda snarkish but in a kind funny way. Glad to see him moved in where I’m sure he will be well loved. Oh an after thought, it seems Candy didn’t know about Francesco nighttime visitors. We still don’t know how old he was when it started perhaps it was something his bio dad started and nothing to do with Jack and Candy. Or maybe Jack without his wife’s knowledge. I’m sure it will all come out eventually. Q

Like I said I haven't truly forgiven them, still no mention of the ungentlemen callers Francesco had. @chris191070 Perhaps thats what Francesco's parents had wanted? We don't know yet or perhaps there was a clause that if he didn't claim it by a certain age it would fall back to Jack and Candy perhaps thats why Jack had tears in his eyes when Candy mentioned Francesco coming of age and able to make his own decision.

Okay, Now I feel kinda bad with how I judged some folks in the last couple of chapters. Candy for one especially as we really haven't seen much from her up until this chapter. Sure they haven't seem to fully treat Francesco like true family but he has been a part of the whole circus family and even Wanda realizes that she should have been treating him more like a brother however I can see from the first time we met Francesco he is different and probably a bit hard to get to know. And now Candy has come clean at least with Wanda about his trust fund. I am still not so sure about Jack but I kinda get him feeling sad about being the end of an era type of thing with the circus I am not exactly sure but his eyes watered when I think he was thinking about Francesco possibly leaving does he really have a soft spot? . I imagine its hard to face something like that when it is truly a part of them they grew up with it and it was good for them and like Francesco's biological family sounds also like they were a part of it all their lives so it is/was truly ingrained in them. However times do change and there are many other things to keep people occupied now a days and people and time move so fast that bonds like that, that were formed do not happen quite as often nowadays. I guess I also get Jack about being a private person there is a whole different vibe with the Old world Circus's/Carnies. I had a buddy once that went on the road for a couple of years with am old family Carnie boy some of the stories I heard LOL. But they always Just like Jack calls them Townies the carnival my buddy worked with was the same way. I guess the townies are like that also possibly even looking down on those in the Circus/Carnival. Still again not sure I have completely forgiven Jack but possible don't feel as bad about him as I did. And I think Candy can handle him well. Glad to see Francesco and Wanda able to freely visit Alex and family again thanks to Candy dealing with her husband. Also glad to find that Francesco has money that will be available to him when he soon turns 18. The only problem with that, is he knows nothing, was taught nothing about money and the way it works within the real world. James has been helping him some but he is soon to need a very in depth lesson. At least he will have the means to be able to leave the Circus if he so chooses. Hmm the teasers sound interesting for the next chapter which I am looking forward too. Grans baking for a special arrival does that mean that the Foster application was approved and Caleb is getting a new home? Lets hope so. Me thinks I smell an even bigger Rat/Rats. We haven't seen too much of Candy and Jack but I think they are both snakes.... I tend to agree after that passage that someone was sending guys to Francesco and pocketing the money he was making for them. So now they are making money from his act and pimping him out possibly. It looked like a great day at the beach for the boys. Francesco learned he can make money with his act and even said it felt good getting paid for his performance. Perhaps Francesco can be encouraged to leave the circus if given the opportunity to perhaps move in with James and his moms. That would for the best I would think. Hmm I want the next chapter now due to the teaser I want to see Jack pay for what he has done and I am sure he has not just taken advantage of Francesco but others in his circus sounds more like a traveling band of Gypsy's then a respectable circus. Hmm wondering if the teaser has to do with Jack facing reality over non payment or animal care? Guess we shall wait and see in the next chapter.

Just as I thought. Jack is a crook. Waiting to see what happens with the conversation between Wanda and her parents. Caleb is happy to be fostered by Justin and Craig lets hope that all gets approved. He will be well taken care of and get to be with Gran as well. I am not 100% certain but I believe a circus/carnival/fair vendors, at least a legitimate ones have a home base address even though they travel I would think that all Tax and such would be handled thru their Homebase City and State. I know that is why a lot of corporations set up a home base in Nevada as the Tax laws there are a lot more lenient. As long as there is an office address there then that corp no matter where the majority of the business takes place follow the Nevada tax laws.
