Well with the state of every one in the room 4 witnesses it should be pretty easy to see it was self defense especially since the gun Colin has only has his finger prints on it or at least no ones in the room there. I kinda hope he is dead then there couldn’t be anyway for him to be freed. Thus meaning Ethan is free of him as well.

Holy molley…. I’m setting here shaking wow just wow. Cody surely saved the day. Pictures were they of Colin and Alan’s wife or…. My thought they are of Alan and another guy. Or rehabs another women even but with how everyone’s reacting I would say guy. The only person in the room that didn’t know Trevor was Jake’s real father was Alan so that little tidbit wouldn’t have phased Jake at all. So what’s going to happen with Colin/Mike now I hope what ever organization he works for won’t get him out of it. okay with that kinda cliffs I’m ready for the next chapter now lol. Q

Loved the story. I have now read everything you have posted here on GA. Oh and I did that in about 3 days. I had read THAW and this one before but because of my memory I didn’t remember much of either of them so it was like reading them for the first time. Now just hoping you are keeping safe and come back and finish Confounded II sometime soon.

Nope no way huh uh… God Mark is just to into this guy for his own good. There is no way on this great green earth that Ross’s explanation would warrant such a quick forgiveness. My dad passed away in 2001 it started to happen at home at the time his visiting nurse was there talk about frantic times but I was still level headed enough to contact family and let them know what was going on. As I said a simple not taken 2 minutes if even that would have solved the issue. I think Mark gave in way to easy. Ross is an ass.

I don’t think Mark was a jerk Me thinks Ross is like the ultimate jerk tho… up and leave Mark like he did and then hearing nothing for days from Ross hell yeah I’d be pissed off but then to come and want to explain himself when they are in crunch time due to a deadline of today instead of what sounded like weeks so not the time. Sure we don’t yet know why Ross left but it could have been avoided with just a simple note or txt sorry emergency had to leave explain later……

I think Ross is an asshat. Telling Mark he doesn’t have a choice. If I were Mark I would be sleeping on an air mattress or better yet lock Ross outta the bedroom for the night regardless of my feelings.

Hmm Thought to my self after read The Butler and Confounded parts one and what’s written of part 2 I had found a new author to read So went to Read House always wins guess what? I had already read it but they way my memory is I only recalled bits and pieces so I finished reading an came here because the title didn’t ring a bell. Guess what? Read it but going to for the same reason read it again. You know an author is good when you reread their works.

Great story. I have read it before a long while back I think because on parts parts seemed familiar so I’m not sure if it had the same ending however I agree an epilogue or a book 2 would be awesome. Tho I see you haven’t been around in over a year but if you return to writing it would be awesome. Off to read Colorado Game now it’s the only story of yours posted I haven’t read yet. Ethan saw what happens when Jake neglects his diabetes I think he will make sure Jake keeps on top of it. Even tho Jakes mom was trying to keep them apart she said she knew Ethan would take care of him. And so far we’ve seen no reason to not believe he would not take care of him.

Holy wow Batman…. Jake is right on with his feelings I think if I found out what a web she and Alan had created just to keep me on the path they wanted I don’t I could forgive them either at least not for a very long time. So now Colin/Mike shows up surely wfor information concerning Ethans whereabouts. I had to go back and reread a couple paragraphs but Jake just said he was leaving Friday so hopefully Alan and his wife don’t know where Ethan ended up going I don’t remember if it was mentioned in the previous when he was supposed to be going to the airport that it was Egypt but I sure hope not. Cody is handling this well now especially as he sees what lies have been told and as I said befor when one door closes another is opened and Cody will be seeing Luke in a few months and I have a feeling he won’t be returning. Jake finally understands what he put Cody thru as well and I think as I have said all along they make better friends then lovers. Anxiously awaiting the next chapter. Q

They are 18 both Kit and Tom Legal Adults. There is no legal way that Roman can force Tom to do anything even more so there is no way Tay can either. Okay sure suggestions can be made but that’s it. Alright they can say he is living under their roof but Tay and Mitch already said they were doing this basically so he wouldn’t have to run or be in the slums. Well trying to force him to do something like spend every other weekend with his parents could cause that any way and cause Kit to follow.

Another great episode in the Ben, Jake, and GW saga. I think I am liking the story more and more with each chapter. I really like how the boys feed off of GW and likewise GW does the same from the boys. To think they have never met or at least not that they are aware of. So looking forward to the next episode. Q

To find out my whole life was nothing I thought it was yeah I’d be blowing the whole thing a part as soon as I walked in the door… However Jake says he wants Trevor in his life and if he says anything then he risks the chance of Trevor being mad at him… However I feel Alan deserves to know the truth. Then again what happens to Cody if everything comes out and causes issues between Alan and his wife? Is that when Cody moves back to the US with Luke?

Wow so I mentioned in a comment on an earlier chapter that I thought Colin might be Jake's father I guess I was just a bit off with that comment since its Trevor that is his actual father. What a web that has been woven from everyone Jake knows. Wow what a bunch of A-Hats Jake's mom, Alan and Colin all are beyond wrong with the way they have tried to steer everything. We are born with free will yes we need guidance at times but holy he double Hockey Sticks.... So Trevor has a conscience and comes clean to Jake and has a ticket for him to get his soul mate... Does Ethan know he is coming? And yes Cody keeps getting screwed and not in a good way but maybe Luke and him are apparently still in contact will Cody go back to the states? I mean everything happens for a reason right? I don't think Cody and Jake were ever meant to be.... But it does suck seeing him getting the shaft all the time but I am sure something good will happen for as well in the long run. So what's it going to be another chapter to tie things all together or is there new third book coming? Whatever is happening with that I am hoping there is more coming to this story. I have read a lot of stories on the net by now on all kinds of different sites but I have never had one I have been so hooked on that has to say something because there are a lot of good writers out there. So Good work James keeping us all in suspense and for making us feel so much for everyone involved. Q

Wow… not at all what I was expecting to read. Jake hauled off and questioned… Cody feeding the law information… The photo of Colin and his mother need more information and Jake taking off again. Who the heck is Trevor? Is this the guy who Ethan mentioned was helping him and who the messages were from on his phone? So many questions left to be answered. Q

Hmm… is Colin Jake’s dad? Is that why the whole keeping Ethan and him apart they are brothers? I’m not sure I have seen dates up to this point aside from summer 2004 if the story takes place in current time 2021 that would make Jake 17 hmm. Again the age of the guys involved doesn’t help matters at all I know people are considered adults at 18 but that doesn’t mean the brain is fully developed and studies suggest that doesn’t happen until 25. So rational thinking at their age has to be tough. Q

Cody keeps bringing up the fact that Jake was the one to try and start things in the beginning but always ignores the fact it was himself that pushed Jake away even to the point they didn’t even see each other when Jake moved. That was why Cody even got outed because he had to write to Jake because they didn’t talk before he left. Jake’s mom really makes sense and hopefully Jake takes to heart what she is trying to get thru to him. Even Ethan is still it seems trying to push him into staying. Q

So we finally get some answers…. We see Nathan’s father for what he really is. Jason needs to come clean with his parents and tell them what is going on between Nathan and his father. I thin Jason’s dad could settle Nathan’s father I don’t why but just a feeling I have. Nathan need to go to court and get custody or at least joint joint custody of his daughter. It seems both these guys don’t think like adults. Q

Okay I’m feeling sad now. Everybody will be affected by the decisions that are made… If Jake leaves with Ethan yes he will be following his heart but what then life certainly won’t be easy and Ethan has tried to make Jake aware of that. But if he stays he will regret not finding out. Leaving himself most likely not treating anyone else around him properly. Again the young ages of the main players in the story are a factor in the decisions that are being made. I should feel for Jake but I feel worse right now because him leaving means hurt to so many, Cody his mom and dad. Even tho Alan is still on my doodoo list. Still seems to be more we need to know.
