My next question was kinda a back burner question, but now it got brought to the forefront in my brain. So I get that rank is tied to eye color, so basically genetic randomness. But then they have the concept you keep what you kill. So then if a low ranked vampire kills a Baron with the intent of taking over, would their eye color change and they be accepted as a Baron? Or would the other nobles step in and chose their own replacement? Or someone else absorb the territory? I mean for Greg's purpose it was clear that either a new territory would have to be declared, or an existing Baron would have to die/retire.

Well that went a lot different from what I expected. This is going to be a lot of dust to watch settle. Wonderful job on the descriptions. Well that made for a brief roller-coaster and a sharp turn. You ever go down one of them really long fully covered waterslides, where ya know there is a sharp turn coming but ya can't see it, and you just know you're gonna end up upside down and backwards by the end of it .... @weinerdog can I borrow your finger nails?
