All I'm gonna say is don't ever trusted a gnome when he says "I fixed the trap, you can go through the door now" Not saying another word, one of my players also reads on here. ..... granted I do wonder what kind of tinkered devices would accumulate in a den full of gnomes. That or getting stuck inside a Rube-Goldberg machine would be like.

Great build up of intensity. I hope the two are able to get their darkness purged soon. I'm slowly getting the feeling they are going to have to accept the darkness in order to control it inside of themselves though.

Lol, I think covid would have happened to us with or with out bats. I'm in the party the believes intentional lab release for population control. Our governments have admitted to doing stuff like that before. The US government especially is notorious for stunts like that. But back to bats and diseases, did you know that they are guaranteed to have rabies, cancer, and a few other lethal diseases. However their metabolism is so fast that they suffer no effects from them. Even if you wash the bat, and wash your hands you are guaranteed to catch something if you handle one with your bare hands. They are totally one of the world's most interesting creatures. And great at pest control. 😁😁

Well that was a flabbersmacked ending to the chapter. I swear you enjoy leaving a chapter ending with no less than a thousand questions up in the air. I would definitely be scared to leave you in charge of writing a movie or theater script

That was just plain adorable and heart warming. So chill compared to what I've been reading lately. I could definitely see putting my feet up on a fire and reading the occasional check in on these characters.
