Max is our son. He's ten years old, and he loves reading, cooking, and dancing ballet. He also likes to snuggle with us for Movie Night, and he has a little bit of a crush on another boy in his dance class.
We're doing well, thanks. I had half a can of pumpkin leftover from making the cinnamon rolls yesterday, so I made pumpkin French toast this morning. Soon, I'll be taking Max to school, and then heading to work at the restaurant.
Oh, not much. Max had a study group with some friends yesterday, and they got most of their work ready for school on Monday. While he did that, I went downtown and did a bit of early Christmas shopping. And speaking of brunch, today Max helped me make pumpkin cinnamon rolls. We also had beet salad, sausage patties, quiche Lorraine, and spiced apple cider.
Well...I definitely would have liked to have sex with Jeremy Sumpter (or at least make out with him for an hour) when I was a teenager, but to actually be in a relationship with him? I probably wouldn't go that far. I mean, sure, having all of that money and a fancy house in Hollywood would be cool, but at the cost of having no privacy? Being under the spotlight 24/7, having cameras follow you everywhere you go? No thanks! I'd much rather stay anonymous.
Nope. I was under the impression that the South had the best BBQ.
Then again, Sparks has two other locations, in Manistee and Grand Rapids, as well as a food truck, so they must be good? But, personally, I've had better. 🤷
You're welcome.
There's really only one place in Traverse City that specializes in BBQ. I wasn't impressed with the quality of their food, but many people seem to like it.
