  1. How funny! We also had meatloaf for dinner. https://wildflourskitchen.com/2017/03/30/brown-sugar-steakhouse-meatloaf/
  2. You would know, seeing as you put it there.
  3. Those are hot dogs. With ketchup, mustard, and American processed cheese, which is blasphemy against tamales. Hey, Drewberry Pi! We missed you here in chat!
  4. Hey, Bumble B.
  5. Your wish has been granted!
  6. In more positive news, Max got invited to a sleepover this weekend. He's really looking forward to it.
  7. Computer rooms are often kept at low temperatures to prevent the equipment from overheating with prolonged use. Still, 13 - 15 C is around 60 - 55 F, which is about the same as the AC in the kitchen at work.
  8. I'm doing well, thanks. We're having potato soup for dinner.
  9. I've never used a girl to hide a relationship with a boy. I didn't have romantic relationships with boys until middle school, and then I thought, "I'm my own person. I don't have to hide who I am." With the exception of a few people in my family (grandparents and such), my dates were an open book to most of the people that knew me, including friends and classmates. I just don't believe in hiding myself, you know?
  10. Hey, Drew! How are things going with you?
  11. Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  12. Got invited to my parents' house for dinner tonight. On the menu: BBQ ribs with a generic brand of sauce called "Open Pit", which tastes salty like the sea with a hint of bland; instant mashed potatoes from an envelope, and over-boiled broccoli with cheese sauce. We ran into my mom at the grocery store the other day, so I saw the items in her cart. And I know how my bio-family tends to cook, so I had to politely refuse the invitation. Also, Max, Morgan and I were just about to sit down to our own dinner. I'm completely confused now. Why call to invite someone to dinner after all of the food has been prepared and served? When the person being invited is in the middle of cooking their own meal? SMH.
  13. Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  14. Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  15. Such a tragedy! I'm so sorry, Terry. My heart goes out to all of the families. I'm sure your mom would win, hands down. Arroz con Leche, tamales, maybe some hot chocolate...
  16. We both work in food service, but I'm only part-time. Morgan works a little later than I do, but the pay is better. And yes, Morgan is aware of my stance regarding brunch (Br. Amie) vs lunch/dinner (Amical). I told Max if he wanted to try other dance styles, he'd have to be careful not to overburden his schedule. The ballet instructors might also think he's getting "distracted" or "not taking ballet seriously", which I've seen happen on some dance-parenting forums. He was a bit disappointed, but understands that he shouldn't spread himself too thin. For now, we're just going to continue with ballet. If he keeps asking, I'll reconsider the issue.
  17. I agree with you about zombies and chainsaw murderers. I could never get behind The Walking Dead, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was too violent for me. However, I'll happily put up with clowns and homicidal dolls for the gay characters. Max, Morgan and I are doing well, in other news. Max is settling into his classes at school, and Morgan is business as usual at Amical (A French restaurant in town, though not as good as Brasserie Amie, in my opinion.)
  18. Hey, Terry! I just watched the first episode of "Chucky" Season Two. It was GREAT!
  19. I'd send you some sunshine in a heartbeat. I bought some clothes at Kohl's the other day, and now it's suddenly too warm for long sleeves! Michigan weather is fickle.
  20. @Comicality Hehehe. This guy is a cutie! I'm looking forward to seeing the next video!
  21. He said he was taking a break, but still....he's been AFK for nearly a year.
