    Chapter 1

I enjoyed the story, but the title is right: there wasn't enough road! What about the return trip home? Thanks for writing yet another cute story, Comsie!
  2. OMG, I love this one!
  3. Reece has been singing since he could talk, and he's always been deeply moved by music. When he was only 18 months old, his parents found him standing in front of the speakers, crying silently as he listened to a beautiful piece of music. They knew he'd be destined for great things, but didn't realize what lay ahead for their son. In 2003, Reece tragically lost his father, and music provided the outlet to cope with the pain and loss of his hero. His album is dedicated to his father's memory, and the song Do You Hear? was recorded with tears running down his face. The song Peace Maker was composed and written exclusively, and Reece co-writes each song so that they are uniquely his own. Reece is also a Straight-A student and has two younger brothers, whom he takes care of together with his mom. He plays piano and guitar, but in his own words, "I like musical instruments, but my favorite one is my voice." https://m.soundcloud.com/reece-van-schalkwyk/reece-feat-emphasis_when-your https://m.soundcloud.com/reece-van-schalkwyk/reece_happy-by-michael-jackson https://m.soundcloud.com/reece-van-schalkwyk/reece_love-yourself https://m.soundcloud.com/reece-van-schalkwyk/reece_destined-to-win https://m.soundcloud.com/reece-van-schalkwyk/reece_peace-maker

  4. Torkel Rogstad, actually, but who's counting?
  5. Hey, Marty! Yup, things are going well, but the last week was surprisingly wet for the end of June. The garden seems to like rainwater better than "soft" water from the hose, though, so I'm not complaining.
  6. Hey, Albert. How are you and Steve?
  7. When they first produced Ugly Betty, it was broadcast on TBS, a channel known mainly for sitcoms. The advertisements always reminded me of The Office, a show that I don't care for, so I was dissuaded from ever watching a single episode. Then the series was moved to another channel, with new trailers, and I finally gave it a chance. Turns out, Ugly Betty is more of a Dram-Com than a sitcom. Now it's actually a favorite series of mine. Proper marketing is key. Contains spoiler from second-to-last episode of the series.
  8. Procrastinator's Support Group: Meeting Postponed until tomorrow.
  9. Well, yes, you might see some of those, if a man is sitting rather carelessly.
  10. Going well, thanks.
  11. I always love this one, thanks!
  12. In (American) English, we say " The straw that broke the camel's back." Not really sure why we say it, but it has the same meaning.
  13. Ummm....actually, Christian Convery is an only child. I think you might be confusing him with Christopher Convery, who has no relation to Christian despite the shared surname.
  14. @dughlas Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears*
  15. Just because you're wearing beer-plugs, it doesn't make my words any less true.
  16. You've clearly been drinking, that's a MIRROR, Albert!
  17. It backfired! Poor Albert turned himself into a monkey!
  18. Methinks the old wizard hath misplaced his sanity as well as his wand.
  19. Hey, Gary. How's Falkor?
  20. Doing well, thanks. We're having Salisbury steak and smashed potatoes for dinner tonight.
  21. Going well, thanks.
