  1. There's a species of "coastal" wolves that spends 90% of its life in or around the ocean. These wolves can swim for miles between islands and rocky outcroppings in the ocean. Their diet consists mostly of seabirds, fish, and crustaceans. For larger prey, they may take down seals or otters. They range from southeastern Alaska to Vancouver Island, though their historical range includes the coastal waters of California.
  2. Hey, Drewberry Pi! Get home safe!
  3. Sweet dreams, Albert.
  4. Iain Armitage is a cute little goober.
  5. Why? Are you standing under a tree? You forgot about 6666, which I'm sure @Drew Espinosa will love.
  6. Hey, Albert. We're having homemade Zuppa Toscana for dinner. https://www.budgetbytes.com/zuppa-toscana/
  7. The good thing about having a pet skunk---no nighttime visits from pests. Sneakers might not be able to spray anymore, but the critters still stay away from our yard, just because of his natural "animal" scent.
  8. Hey, Dugh and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears* Hey, Albert. Kudos for no cramps!
  9. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! *waves to the foster kids*
  10. Cheese-stuffed burgers on honey wheat buns, with caramelized onions. Salt-and-vinegar roasted potatoes and coleslaw on the side.
  11. Hey, Dugh and Thistle. *scratches for the pup*
  12. I get that same issue! And my "followed content" keeps disappearing. Stories are unaffected, but if I choose to get notifications about my writer's prompts, or anything in the forums, then those notifications will be turned off when I check back the following day.
  13. Could they salvage the lumber? Maybe you could have a carpenter make a table or something.
  14. Trust the Focus, by Megan Erickson I love books about road trips, and this is one of the best, in my opinion.
  15. It was Eggs Benedict casserole for our family. With Hollandaise sauce, of course. Roasted asparagus on the side.
  16. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! *waves to the foster kids* Hey, Marty!
  17. Hey, Drewberry Pi! Oh, yeah. Definitely!
  18. Possibly. I wouldn't know about the nekkid part, but boating is always fun. Mickey and Remy both have Boat Operator's Licenses, as do Morgan and I.
  19. Mickey bought the boat, after all. The previous owner said his grandfather bought it after coming home from WW2, but never had much occasion to use it. The paperwork has been updated, and the meters and engine parts are all new. Other than that, it's exactly the same as when it left the showroom.
  20. Hey, Dugh and Thistle. *scratches Thistle on his belly*
  21. I'm still a bit peckish. *goes down to the cellar to get a cheesecake for serving*
  22. Hey, Bertie and Steve. I made fire-roasted gazpacho with grilled cheese dippers. So, someone out by my parents' way is selling a 1947 Barrel-back Chris Craft motorboat. Mickey saw it in the front yard, and he wants to buy it. It's only $700, looks to be in pristine condition, but I'm wary of that price tag. I don't know much about boats, but I'm sure a piece like that would be WAAAY more expensive. Either the guy doesn't know what he has, or he's getting desperate to sell. I asked Morgan to head out there and take a look at it. I also reminded Mickey over the phone that he's holding several kayaks in storage: his, Remy's, and Sean's two-seater. And he'd need his parents' permission to store the boat in their garage, though space won't be an issue. But, the kid sounded more excited than I've ever known him to be about anything.
