  1. We're doing well. I have a plot sketched out for my garden this year. I got the laundry done, made broccoli cheddar soup for dinner, and now I'm looking at shiplap styles for the powder room.
  2. Evening, Kitt. Evening, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for Thistle* Hey, Drewberry Pi! Hey, Albert. Hey, Tea Bat.
  3. We're doing well.

  6. Actually, it started as a discussion forum for CoTT before, but then we started talking about everything and anything. Within the guidelines, anyway.
  7. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! And hello, the rest! Glad you're doing well. Morgan and I got back from grocery shopping about an hour ago.
  8. Hey, Gary. Hello there! Welcome.
  9. Hey, Parker. Morning, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for the wee pup* Hey, Nickypoo. Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope you get better soon.
  10. Evening, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears*
  11. Hey, sexy chef. I'm so sorry, Gary. Not only did you lose a good little friend, but now there's no chance for a proper burial. Is it possible you simply forgot where you packed her in the snow?
  12. Funny fairy. Hey, Gary.
  13. "Kidnap Bucket and use their probes on him"? Hey, Froggy. Okay, I guess I can take the little fellow in. But he'll either need to be trained not to spray, or have his musk gland removed. Sneakers will enjoy having a friend. Yes! He has. Brat.
  14. Leftover scalloped potatoes. For @clochette. They want Looping to be Daddy! Hey, Drewpop!
  15. Hey, Albert. *returns the package to Clochette*

    Chapter 2

Apparently, Dick thinks of his family as possessions to be used, with no consideration for their feelings. If Richie's mom had a written will, then Uncle Raymond can hopefully challenge Dick's attorney, and argue that Dick is violating its execution....or something. Freddy seems nice, and Gabe is a very good friend to have.
  17. Well, I've talked about my first kiss a few times before. The boy whom I shared it with was a classmate of mine in the 7th Grade. We kissed and held hands a few times during school (in private corners of the building), but he never offered to invite me to his house, and if I asked him over to mine, he'd give some pathetic excuse about why he couldn't. I realized, after a few weeks of running around in circles, that he wasn't willing to publicly come out to his family or friends, hence the need to insulate his time with me from the rest of his life. We drifted apart and stopped speaking outside of Science class, and I never had any more classes with him after that. Bottom line is: If you love someone, or you think you love someone, but they're reluctant to let you be a part of their life, they might not want the same things that you do. You might as well whack your head on a rock. If I could go back, I'd ask him about how "serious" we were, or what he wanted to get out of our relationship. That's why I believe it's important to communicate your intentions clearly.
  18. https://www.attitude.co.uk/article/exclusive-ronan-parke-ive-always-identified-as-gay-and-ive-always-been-proud-to-say-it/20491/ Here's the interview, if anyone cares to read it. And his album Found My Way uses no gendered pronouns, ON PURPOSE! Guess I'm going to FYE tomorrow.
  19. Hey, Marty. No worries. Family comes first. With friends, comes understanding.
  20. Oh, nothing much. Right now, I'm planning my garden for when the snow melts.
  21. Hey, sexy chef.
  22. That's actually a good thing. Like most veg, zucchini can get tough, wooden, and bland-tasting if left too long before harvesting. They grow quite fast (about 3 inches a day), so harvest early and often. They should be dark green and firm. If you have more than you can use or give away, you can slow the plants' production by trimming off the flowers. The flowers are also edible in salads and stir-fries. Or, you can fill them with cream cheese, coat them in batter, and deep-fry them. Just make sure to pluck out the reproductive bits before you use the flowers.
  23. Congrats, Clo! Glad to hear that the lemon seeds survived! Zucchini and tomatoes are annuals, not perennials, so they need to be replaced every year. I was thinking of planting those two this year, along with basil, oregano, eggplant, and strawberries. Maybe even some corn, if I can find planters big enough.
  24. I assume that green food dye was added to the yolks before the whites were filled.
