  1. I should do that for Sneakers tonight.
  2. Hey, Gary. Hey, Tim. Hey, Thorn. Hey, Val. Hello, fairy queen.
  3. I was 13 years old when I had my first kiss. I was in the library at school, and it was mostly deserted, around lunch time. I had been flirting with this boy named Vitali for a few weeks since the start of school, and we bonded over a shared love of reading. He was also my partner in Science class. I could tell that he kind of liked me, and the feeling was mutual, so one day, while we were play-fighting over a beanbag chair, I leaned over and kissed him. Or, maybe he kissed me? It was so sudden, I don't remember what it actually felt like, except for maybe a little jolt of static electricity between our mouths. I felt a little confused at first, and I asked him why he kissed me, to which he replied "Because I like you, doofus!" After that, I responded, "I like you, too." with a smile on my face. We leaned in for a second shot, but then the librarian came over and told us to take it somewhere else. As I recall, it was late September, and the weather that day was pouring rain. Yuck. But the mood in the library was very cozy, and quiet. We left the library and found a little corner to talk with each other, and then we kissed a couple of times more. I remember feeling really happy when Vitali kissed me, and then pleasantly shocked when he asked me to be his boyfriend! I always felt a little sad when we went our separate ways at the end of the school day. He never invited me to stay at his house, or accepted my invitation to come over to mine. I got the sense that his life at home wasn't so easy, and even though I'd have loved to stay friends with him, our lack of progress led to our eventual breakup as a couple. Still, I'll always cherish those memories I have of him.
  4. They're donuts. In Poland, they're called Paczki (poonch-key). They're very popular in the weeks leading up to Fat Tuesday. Traditionally, Christians had to stop eating "fatty" foods like eggs, sugar, and butter/lard before the Lenten season, so donuts are an excellent (and delicious) way to use up those ingredients before then.
  5. Good evening, Kitt!
  6. Yes, I'm aware of the difference. I just used the cheese danish to show what the filling looks like for both.
  7. As a matter of fact, I bought a couple dozen. Lemon, Bavarian cream, Strawberry, and Cheese. @clochette Before you jump to conclusions, I mean the cheese looks like this: Crazy Tinkerbell.
  8. So, on the evening news just now, they mentioned that Potter's Bakery (local store) makes 13,200 Paczkis for Fat Tuesday.
  9. TLA Releasing always makes good movies.

  11. Hey, Caz. We're doing well, though Mickey hasn't been around for a few days. He caught a late-season cold, but I know he'll bounce back quickly.
  12. I'm doing well, as is Morgan. Mickey caught a late-season cold, though, so we haven't seen him for a few days. Hoping he'll recover soon.
  13. A Disney character, perhaps? No, wait...that was a caribou, wasn't it? Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash!
  14. Hey, Marty. Hey, Thorn. Hey, Gary.

  21. Semi-sweet chocolate is most commonly used when you want something to melt, such as ice cream topping or biscuits, but I reserve dark chocolate for baking.
