    Oof. The burning feeling on my hand ended after about 90 minutes. But the skin still feels like it was scrubbed with fine-grit sandpaper. A word of advice: Never reach into a sink where Carolina Reaper peppers have contaminated the water.

    Got released from work early tonight. Someone used a blender to prep some Carolina Reaper sauce, then wisely left the blender to soak in the sink. Guess who was on dish duty? I stuck my whole hand in the water to grab the blender, and my skin immediately started tingling. Then it rapidly rose to a horrible burning, even after I applied dish soap with no water. Twice. 😭😫
