    Yesterday, I stopped at a bakery-café called Outpost before work, and I ordered a ham and butter sandwich on a demi-baguette. Or so I thought. The shop was full, so I took my order to-go. I also refused a receipt, to cut down on paper waste. When I sat down on a bench and opened the package, to my surprise, it wasn't the sandwich I ordered. Or perhaps it was? I found ham with Brie cheese, pickled red onions, and fig jam. I said to myself, "Wait. Did I say 'Ham and Butter' or 'Ham and Brie'? I can't recall now. Perhaps the clerk made a mistake? Ahhh, well." I could have returned to the store and requested a new sandwich, but I didn't want to see the first order go to waste. So I ate it regardless. And let me tell you, there wasn't a crumb left.
