You read the entire series in a very short period of time! I'm happy you could actually DO that, let alone that you WANTED to! Normally, the next story wouldn't be until July 4th. But it does seem that Third Planet Inquiries is getting some business now, and we may have to look in on that and see what's happening... Thanks for the kind words about the guys!

Small things are what give people their personalities. The little things we like about someone add up! Being sweet to someone large enough to crush you with their bare hands carries some small risk if you don't know them, but it's endearing when they're your friends! Casper would be pleased to know you like him!

It can be hard enough to write a story based in the real world and keep the details straight. Writing in a fantasy world can be a pitfall unless you set certain rules right from the start. Once you decide what can and cannot be allowed, you have to stick by it, and not just change the rules later to enhance the plot. I tend to treat my fantasy words as real places, which helps to keep me out of trouble by not getting too elaborate. But mostly, it's just developing a feel for the worlds you create, what will fly and what won't, that leads to consistency. If a writer doesn't get that sense for the world they have made, it will be damn tough to keep it in line. Thank you for your kind appraisal. 🙂

I have heard, too, that many things can be made to last longer than they do, but that manufacturers build in a 'lifespan' so as to not kill off their future markets. As far as batteries go, there seems no reason to have them last forever if the devices they go into don't!

You sure are bent on having Amy marry Horace! Amy hasn't even been on any adventures to speak of, yet. I plan to fix that in 2023. There is plenty of time for courtship. Amy has to get over the sheer terror of having the married name, Amy Wingspanner, first! 😁

Yep. Batteries are amazingly BETTER these days than when we were kids, when you put a pair of hefty 'D" batteries into a mechanical tyrannosaurus, and it only ate three plastic soldiers before it died!
