Jason turned over in bed for about the hundredth time and looked at the clock. It was just midnight. He'd been in bed for an hour already, and sleep just wouldn't come. After dinner, he'd looked at the pictures he'd taken earlier that day, and again marveled over how beautiful Ray's face was. The magnetism was incredible, and Jason had laid down in his bed and let his fantasies take charge, with predictable results. Well...no. I have always intended to finish the Road trilogy, but there are only so many free hours in each day, and I have moved onto other paths now. Plus, I really wasn't very happy with the second story. Hard to take that one back now in order to do a third. But only time will tell.

I know what you mean on the shortage of reading time. For me, it's gotten to be read or write, one or the other. If I don't read, I wind up with a feeling that I am missing a lot of things. But if I don't write, I'll explode!

We are all alone when we're young, until the day we suddenly are not. Yes, we are a part of families, which is not being totally alone, but that doesn't offer the closeness we all desire at some point. Having that one person to touch, to share the warmth of body and mind with; THAT comes in life when times says, and not before. When you're young, time can seem the enemy of all things. Feeling like that special something will never happen for you can be the hardest thing life has to offer.
