Cavemen learned to use fire, drew illustrations on the walls of their homes that expressed complex thinking, and brought down game we would run screaming from today. A modern man, against a caveman, would be an interesting test.

It was stated in an earlier chapter that Jack had made sure everyone knew about sex, and where babies came from. There are no mistakes happening here. None of these kids want to bring a baby into a world where it might not live long enough to walk. My feeling is that this sort of attitude would more impress kids than adults. The fears they fear and the worries they worry, they would not wish upon a baby.

Yes, they are. I agree with that, fully. But they are so close in ages that it works a little differently than it would with real adults. I would hate to see them saddled with babies in that environment. I would prefer to wait until a time when the word 'saddled' would not even be used along with 'babies'.

Richie already has considered that he would father children, even if he could not be a husband to any of the girls. They are at least thinking about that. But they're kids now. They need to do that first, and become parents later. And later...well, we're getting there!

Well, when there are only a choice or two around, I guess you need perspective. Still, Mike and Sherry are very tight, and Marnie knows this. I think she was just considering, much less than planning. Tina is young. She would have been eight at the time of the Changes. The last two years of her life would have struck more of a pattern for her thoughts and actions than the previous eight. She knows the things she needs to do, but she is also a kid, and can be pardoned for the occasional lapses into just being one. As Marnie said, the world can be a bitch sometimes.

Well...it doesn't really matter if you're gay. Granted, you get an eyeful. And maybe what your friends see isn't taken the same way as it is for you. But there is some innate pleasure that nearly ALL guys that age, straight, gay, or undecided, get from doing this thing together, or they wouldn't be doing it. Haha. Hell, yeah, sound travels FAR in the woods. I'm not trying to scare you. The trend of this story has been along a certain path, but...appearances can be deceiving. If you like the last chapter, let me know. If you don't, tell me why. That's all I mean.

There are multiple lists of the Five P's. The one I gave seemed the likeliest that Ivor would mean. Now, if he had been talking about the Five B's...that would be different!

Haha. Yep. He could have been a pimp in his previous life, too. Expensive Armani's have a way of finding their way onto the unlikeliest of bodies. A zombie lumberjack would be no joke. Bet he would swing a really BIG...axe.

Well, zombies have such a bad reputation, I wanted mine to be different. I can imagine mine keeping a secret diary, and recording each night his interactions with the humans, especially that "sexy Richie and Jeremy". Sigh. Surely, being a zombie cannot be ALL bad!

Oh, heck, guys can jerk off together without being gay. It's the national pastime of the teen years! But it's funny how we can have no privacy, and imagine that we do. As a veteran of many a sleepout with friends in the woods as a kid, I remember quite well how easily sound travels at night. Secrets, like the songs of crickets, have a way of making the rounds! After you complete the story, tell me again if you would like to see more!

Oh, I agree completely. Somehow, the image of an all-naked zombie attacking is just not as frightening. Even Tina thought so. Well...next chapter will tell.
