Thank you for commenting. I feel as you do, that wars create moments of great and deep feelings, that we in peacetime perhaps cannot quite imagination. The idea that there my be no tomorrow, and therefore no chance to follow our dreams, is not something we have to consider. In such a situation as this, to act in the moment, then, is to preserve the dream. I can only imagine how difficult it might have been to be gay in WWII-era Norway...but I am equally sure it happened, and that those involved dealt with, and survived.
