A fine little scarefest that will chill anyone, but especially anyone that has a partner they love. A tale of dark possession, rabid compulsion, and clever redemption driven by the power of love. A great little read!

VERY satisfying ending, with everyone happy except for the house and its windows. I guess we'll never know what that was about, but it's fun to imagine! A great little story, and I'll be happy to recommend it!

I have some doubts about Coop's methods, but at the same time realize he wasn't just 'burning a house down'. His intent was to save a life, and get rid o,something evil. Still, I don't know why he didn't just commit the act himself instead of involving someone else. But, maybe that's a crucial piece to the rest of the tale? Still, an enjoyable read.

Sadly, it may be another day or so before you guys find out. I have caught up with myself in writing this tale. I had hoped to manage the last few chapters in time to get everything posted in order, but life these days seems very uncooperative with writing. I am guessing that I can post the end on Wednesday, sometime. I will post the next chapter, the moment it is complete. Sorry, guys.

This is a rare event for me, posting a story before it's complete. I just managed to get chapter 7 here in time to post at the normal time tonight. The next chapter...dunno. If life allows, I'll have it tomorrow night. If you don't see it, I guess that means it will be the next night. If I had waited for completion, I wouldn't have been able to start it by the holiday.

I just got here with chapter 7 in time to post it and have it appear at the regular time. But when I saved it, it posted immediately, at least 30 minutes before I expected it to post. Never saw that before. I figure now that the clock going back gave an extra hour to the software, so that when I saved it posted immediately because we were already beyond the 24 hours between chapters. Well, it's a theory.
