  1. Yeah, it was finally great to have some time off & actually be in my own country for a change. New years resolution, keep tabs more on here, been a long while. Hope you had a good un Tiger.
  2. I love vampires & this has the makings of a great story especially with the unknown waiting outside at the end.
  3. Sir Galahad

    Chapter 1

Well, that was cheerful! It did make me chuckle in places despite it's somewhat sombre tone. Well done.
  4. Excellent. This chapter certainly lays the groundwork for what I imagine is going to be explosive second chapter. I would never have guessed that a Makriam mage would have been his ally and a cute one no less. Is this the start of something more I wonder? There is some wonderful imagery here, in the style we have so become used to from you. Very well done indeed.
  5. Sir Galahad

    Prologue

I for one really like this story, especially the changes you made from the original. You have great possibilities for this, & I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more. Well done
  6. Another excellent chapter in what is fast becoming one of my favourite stories on here. A lot of questions answered, but a lot of things left wide open. All I can say is that he's got some serious training down the road. Rather him than me! lol. Oh and Dragon... get a move on with the next chapter otherwise I'll nag.
  7. Wow, where did that come from & I’m not talking about the cliffhanger! Lol. Great chapter and a little more of the mystery solved, but even more created. You’ve created great interaction between Matt & Gary, and I totally got Gary’s anger at the end of the chapter, but didn’t see the result coming at all. His frustration has been subtly building up since chapter 2, and what a way to let it go! I wonder if that’s one of the talents that have been hinted at. Be certainly interesting to find out. Grrr, so many questions. I also liked the way you handled his first feeding, where he was so hungry he didn’t see a person, only food. I wonder if he’s lost his humanity as well; poses an interesting question. Can’t wait for chapter 4 now. I case anyone is wondering, I have copied my reviews of this story from eFiction and placed them here. I think it's unfair for an author to have done the work only for the reviews to be wiped. SG
  8. What I like about this story, especially after this chapter, is how you have totally thrown the vampire handbook out the window. I never guessed the light walker ability at all, with the extras attached. Now the title makes sense. I like the soul bonded element, rather than boy meets boy & falls instantly in love, very well done. I was worried for a second it was going to be stereotypical. Katrina has me intrigued I have to say, you keep teasing us with that side, but still I'm hanging on wanting more.
  9. Bangles - Eternal Flame. Not really a sad song, just reminds of something from way back.
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. There's always one whore who's out for what she can get. Be selling her story to the tabloids next, mark my words!
  12. I know, it's a cross we have to bear! He's a seriously cute guy, and the dancing whilst odd, was kinda hypnotic!
  13. Bloody marvelous Tiger. Granger's had more ass in this story than I can ever remember in the rest! Not a bad thing by any means, you can't keep all those seamen cooped up like that without letting them stretch their legs! (Sorry couldn't resist the seaman thing) He's got his own ship, and the thought of all those sweaty hard working men underneath him must be kinda exciting for the Commander! It certainly sounds like the perfect job to me, any vacancies?
  14. Another vote. Great ending by the way.
  15. No, that wore off last week!
  16. I'm still playing catch up after my holiday, but just had to butt in & say, Oh my god, you killed Greg!
  17. It's good to see George & Travers breaking in the new house or at least the bed, in their traditional style! I wonder if they added to the decor whilst they screwed in the bedroom! Must have been really hard for them to share the same bedroom, at least they are used to such things in the Navy! Looks as though George is going to hit the ground running regarding the improvements on the estate, all paid for through a little gambling as well. Whoever said politicians never put their hand in their own pocket for the ordinary people? So Travers gets appointed to a frigate, no doubt filled with randy seaman, however will he cope?
  18. Welcome to all newbies. (Waves his steel fist)
  19. This is going to buck the trend, but Vista 64bit edition I feel is the best system to date. Yeah it did have an awful lot of problems when it was first released, but is very stable now. Win 7 still has issues, especially with the top end graphics cards. I imagine these will be worked out in due course, so will grab my free copy and give it a go....in 6 months!
  20. I'm with the concenus on this, I do text an awful lot, almost a 1000 a month! That said, I still manage 500 or so minutes of talk time every month as well. I guess I just have a lot to say!
  21. Well, I work in IT so I spend a good part of my day glued to a computer. However when I get home I'm under orders from him indoors to limit my time, so not as much as I used to by any means.
  22. Indeed, welcome back to the land of the living!
