  2. I'm so pleased for you. And next time, remember to save your work as you're going along!
  3. Her penguiness needs taking down several notches. I'll start by taking the shiny. Mine
  4. Very good and produced a genuine shiver down my spine. The best 'horror' stories are often the ones where less is more. This is definitely the case here. Nothing much happens but the atmosphere and both his fears and my fears create a psychologically fraught tale of the impossible.
  5. I deserve it for all the anguish, pain and grief I've suffered since my darling was taken away from me. *snivels unconvincingly* Whatever ... It's mine - payment.
  6. Much as I liked this performance, my ears wished not to hear a piano and something like that does get in the way of listening properly. I also liked the real sense of chamber music being played - no conductor, with Schiff giving direction as necessary.
  7. I'm going back to the start to see what I've missed. Anyway, this one from Peter reminded me that one section of the Christmas Oratorio was also reused in one of his secular (almost operatic) cantatas. I can't remember which one off hand but I could probably find out if anyone's that interested.
  8. Emi, I feel for you. I hope it comes back to you.

  13. The faux emperor's new clothes do not include a shiny - not a single one. So to keep the story straight, I'll snatch it away. Mine
  14. *shoves another fish flavoured ice cream at the faux emperor who drops the shiny in the rush to grab it. Superglues the shiny to my skull* Mine
  15. My concert playing season has started and with it comes my post-concert blues. They don't last that long but I really should learn to button my digital lip while they're on. I wrote the following as part explanation, part apology for something that shouldn't have been sent. The forecast is for a Low, deepening gradually Following a sunny day. Unsettled weather overnight will Make sleeping difficult. By morning, Mist and some dense fog will mean poor Visibility. A few Light showers are possible. Outlook brighter with sun. (and I know it doesn't make meteorological sense )
  16. Do zombies dream of electric sheep? Who cares! I may be an ex-queen but I can still afford a Pepsi. Mine, I believe ... *Goes and sits in a secure panic room, crooning to the shiny ...*
  17. Wouldn't Donner object?
  18. I don't think shiny appreciates being called a hat. It's not something you wear to keep the rain off Shiny needs to be with a queen who can look after it properly - me!
  19. I'll have *my* crown back from the birdy as the bear doesn't seem to be bothered. Mine, all mine

    Morning After

Perfect and so true (as I'm discovering ). Short poem = shorter review ...
  22. I have to say I wouldn't trust Translate with anything as complex and nuanced as poetry. We'll have to wait for Emi's translation, I think.
  23. I miss it so much... I want it - I will have it ... *snatch* Mine, again!
  24. And that's before you add in blue bears, wolves, zombies, eagles and our resident rhymer .... It's safer over in Live Poets, Tim
