To show that I'm not a total ass kisser like @Jason Rimbaud, girl you can do better. Having read your work and been thoroughly involved with it on an emotional level across more than one of your stories, I can see the struggle in between the lines your having trying to make it work. One thing I've learned about writing is if you have to force it, it's probably going to get tossed. You've done it, I've done it, we've all done it. There is nothing wrong with staying in a comfort zone if you tried the other way and it didn't work out. My whole schtick is built around my comfort zones, half my stories tread on the same kind of theme just different variations of it. It's my niche, it's my jam, it's how the ideas come the easiest. I'm struggling with something myself, I've got two chapters of something and it seems forced and I don't like it. I'm sure everyone will love it anyway but what's the point if I don't? And I know we kind of work the same way like that. You are just way more eloquent with words, like a flowing field of bountiful vegetation, where I'm more direct and to the point like a sword being shoved home. Different visions, but same methods of getting there. You said somewhere that first writing is for fun, and when it's no longer fun you're going to stop doing it. So keep it fun so you keep doing it. If the shoe doesn't fit, it isn't Cinderella. ❤️

There’s a reason why James quote has been in my signature for a long time will stay there lol. I’m of the same mind as @Jason Rimbaud, do I consider myself an author? Not really, should I maybe start thinking that way? Possibly. I have no idea if anything I write will have a hard copy, but maybe I’ll surprise myself one day who knows. But then again the whole thing boils down to labels and as JamesSavik so eloquently stated, labels are for cans. 😂

The sequel to encrypted is progressing. Trying to understand my notes from December is terrible sometimes I do stuff in short hand thinking I’ll remember the context behind it, surprise I never do. Progress seems slow but then again I’ve only been in this a couple of days, hopefully I won’t deadlock on it and get stuck again. i only say that because the whole premise, and this goes back to book 1 as well is that this was a complicated idea to begin with, that has to have layers that fit well or it won’t work. If I manage to pull this off and the reviews end up being the same or better than the first one then I’ll have to tell my self doubt to take a hike, because I’ve got proof I’m doing okay. Got an update on Skylar’s story coming too, I thought about it and while I could have ended it where that one is too, there’s still some tropes I haven’t abused yet. Oh and the idea factory decided it wanted to start its nonsense again so now I have to deal with that. Which in itself is crazy because even before I have characters or a plot, I feel the emotional range of a story first then have to get an idea to assign it too, then work out the plot/characters. If it sounds like a lot of work well your right it is lol hence why I have a google drive full of starters that will probably be some banging stories but I just need to lock in and do it. But yay, confused progress.
