That’s really what the whole jist of this story is, a series of obvious tropes done in a tasteful way in the manner in which they’re done by averages. i wasn’t trying to reinvent the wheel, just give the wheel a nod and maybe pay some homage to memories of other stories readers may have read in the past, you know not a direct call out but give that vague feeling of familiarity. But I’m also poking a little bit of humor into the tropes as well, just a little over exaggeration. Im glad I was able to pull off something you mentioned, most people would be turned off on something like this, just like you said you would. It’s something I do worry about.

Yep. At some point after posting chapter 9, I started chapter 10 then totally forgot I did so. So imagine my surprise when I setup to start chapter 10, I already had that file name taken. I read it, went "oh, well this is good," then just finished it lol. Amazing what you forget in the span of a couple of months.

I just had McDonald’s does that count? As for ear worm oof. Too many to list, usually I use music to help setup writing so it’s been all over the place with different vibes and emotions as I try to get the workflow moving again.

Bro you have no idea the behind the scenes mess that happened during Encrypted. I didn’t figure out the majority of the plot until after chapter 8 or 9 and by then I was locked on a path I couldn’t change. Seriously the “villain” of the story changed half a dozen times until I found something that fit so to say I had the plot down ahead of time makes me laugh because I had no friggen clue. Maybe I’m more like Liam than I thought because what you described is what I go through when writing, obsession till deadlock then I end up doing nothing masking it with excuses till i figure it out. And I know the art of procrastination quite well. 😂 So if anything somehow I accidentally managed to learn how to keep chaos reigned in and made it look like I know what I’m doing because I seriously don’t lol.

You absolutely kill me sometimes. 😂 But this was one of my favorite chapters it got long and a little out of hand but was still fun.
