  1. Welcome lustful_orcs, I am some what new myself, not a writer though just a reader. I enjoy reading the stories here and have tried to give feedback as well. As a reader, it is weird because you don't want to offend the writer so sometimes you feel odd giving an opinion. But, I have been trying to do better with my feed back and make it constructive. Anyway, Formosa is one of the shared authors here and he has started a really good love story. You might enjoy "Loving You Loving Me" and he is looking for some feedback like you are probably more capable of doing than me. Welcome to GA and I look forward to seeing you around. Jensen
  2. Hi CJames, I have done some research in that area as well. What I found when I went back to the older languages, siting mainly Sodom and Gomorrah, that the ancient words that were actually used to describe the city were describing behaviour. The same words used to describe a whore, woman, was the exact same words used to describe the men's behaviour. It was the actual behavior of the situation, that was admonished not being homosexual. Anyway, I took that further and found it to be consistent in almost every text that the word homosexual would apply. But, I never found that in any case that it was wrong when love was involved. Anyway, my 2 cents for you. Jensen
  3. Wow C James, That is amazing, I can't even imgaine getting to 100!! Congratulations!! Jensen
  4. Well, I voted interesting characters. I think that if an author can develope a range of interesting characters then I believe that a story plot will fall into place. Because as you develope the characters, they make the story. They develope it and they carry it. If you have one or two characters in a story, it is more complicated to make the story likeable. But, if you develope a line of characters that are interesting then it is more likely they will contribute to the story and the plot will thicken or develope. With out good characters, you loose the heart of the story what makes you want to come back what gives the story soul. Jensen
  5. Wow, for a Newbie, I think it is great that the site has reached this much activity. Congradulations all, I hope that I can contribute in the future to help you get to 100,00 posts. Hugs, Jensen
  6. I found it through Nifty. They really seem to help push this site. Jensen
  7. Hi, I am Jensen and was lead here by several friends. I am just getting use to the enviornment and other things the site has to offer. I have posted on Formosa, who has a great story "Loving You Loving Me" and I was told there was a forum to discuss his story. So I joined and my first post was there. He is really a great author and I love the story. Leo and David are great characters and true to life. So anyway, I am getting my feet wet and will soon jump in whole heartedly. I like what I am seeing and plan to venture out. Thanks GA, Jensen
  8. I changed the font size on mine until I felt that it was reasonable. But I use mine to promote one of my favorite Authors and the Tag is exactly what is on the Shared Host Site. I am not very good with sizing and stuff so I leave it to just one author. I hope that mine is not over the edge but I have had no complaints either. David
  9. Hi Nick, Okay, well I am not going to say much here other than I am very proud to call you my friend. I think the world of you and I know how it can feel at times. You are a good person with a great heart. You know I have the utmost respect for you. Always Your Friend, Boxerdude David
  10. Well, I agree with Nick on his post. I don't like what is going on and it is just nuts. We are the most powerful country on the face of the earth, why can't we just be done with this? Who are we afraid off. We need to get this done and over with and focus on Iran, but we are spread to thin right now. Oh, Micheal, one thing Nick has said that is gay is that he has a boyfriend Have good one all. Hugs, David
  11. Just a side note to this topic. I have several friends that are Wicken and I am told by them that they do not worship the devil and are more earth-energy based. (quick def. did not want to go into to much detail) but they refer to themselves as Witches all men and women. They explained to me that a Warlock is what they call Dark Magic or Devil Worshipers. There is a big difference in all these names. They are usually linked to a specific religion except for the word "Witch" that seems to flow through a lot of them. I will also be looking up these stories as well. They are really great. http://jamie.awesomedude.com/tsoi/scrolls_...a__chapters.htm Here is a link to another great story by "Jamie" and he rights a lot of stuff having to do with magic. This story here is fantastic, it is about "Angel Boys" boy's with wings and they are all gay fighting evil forces. It is really cool. Hugs, David
  12. Way to go Kevin!! How you find the time to do all you do amazes me. You always seem to have something going on and then there is all your duties here at GA. Wish I had half your energy!! Can't wait for the sneak peak!! Hugs, David
  13. Kevin, I always love your posts, it reminds of when I was your age and I was so happy and always looking for the next thing to do as well. It just takes me back in time. Well at 24 I had just moved in with Mike so you bring back to memories of the frist 6 month of love and lust. God, those were the days! Differernt now though, but still happy. I think everyone has their up's and down's, but what I consider real happiness is when it is all said and done and at the end of the day you are content and you know your in the right place. Mike and I are happy all of the time because of the basic definition I just gave you. We have our moments, but we still know we are with the right person, and are content with our life and enjoy ourselves. I am happy because of who I am and who I turned out to be. So, I think you have brought of a very good topic and I am happy for you. You have a good life and deserve to have one just like the rest of us. You just fine a way to make your life sound so much funner!!! Have a Great Day! David
  14. Nick, Sorry for being so slow to respond, but I could not agree more with your statement. I am proud as you have stated. I don't know really what to say because you put it so well. Thanks for putting into words what I have been thinking. I remember the day well, I was scared to death. I watched a SW Airlines plane make a very fast U turn over the building I work in that day, and I have never seen one of the planes do that since. We had a TV at our office and we watched a lot of it and a lot of us cried. I can't forget that feeling or what was happening. It is seared into my mind. Thanks you for your post. David

Camy, Sorry to hear that things are not going your way, but I can understand that as they are not exactly going my way either. But like you, thank god for Mick and I thank god for Mike. Sometimes they can make the day so much better, or worse depending on the day. I hope you see things turn around and always feel free to PM me. I am there for you if you need to talk. David
  16. Bardeara, I am pretty good with cars, and from what you have told me you I can tell what might be the issue. 1. The gas tank has corrded and is putting metal into your carborator. So, that means the fuel line from the tank to the carborator either needs to be cleaned out if aluminum or replaces. 2nd. The fuel gage does not work because on the older model cars the fuel tank level is determined by a fuel tank "Bobber." That is like if you see something floating in a lake or something, it bobs up and down with the water but floats on top. So, I am guessing that the corrosion in your tank has screwed up the gage. We have to figure out what the estimated cost is to fix it. Then look back at the history of the car. Have you had just a few repairs or is there something going on every month that needs to be fixed. How many miles does the vehicle have on it? Well, I am also going into accountant mode here as that is what I do for a living. If you have monthly maintenance cost that would be close to or the same as a payment on a newer car, then dump the car and use the mainenance money on a new one. You will have less of a head ache and still spend the same amount of money. If this is t he first time in a long time you have had to fix something, then way the cost and more than likely get it fixed. Look at how much you spend in maintenance in a year and then divide that by 12 and see if you would be better off putting that money into a new car. That is the best I can do with what you gave me. So, I hope it helps. David
  17. Jules, That was really cool. Thanks for sharing it and it really had a clear point to it as well. David
  18. Oh, wow, that was cool. I am such a Sci-Fi nut as well as enjoy the historical ledgent told like this. Thanks for send the link. I will be one to see it for sure!! David

  21. Hi Ingenue, Welcome to GA! I have been here since June and have found it to be a great place to make new friends and to read great stories some awesome authors. There are a huge list of them, but some of my favoirites are NicholasJames8, LittleBudda, Krista, I have not started on Dom Luka's stuff but I here he is awesome. I too feel like C James that I wish this was around when I was a Teen. But, I think I faired pretty well myself though. I waited until College before I came out so I did so in a Big way!! Finally just did not care what anyone thought of me anymore. I was going to be me, like me or not this is who I am. Then just went from there. Well you will find there is a lot to this place so enjoy and if you have any questions do not hesitate to PM me. Also, I have a blog and you are welcome to read to it and post comments as well. It is kind of theraputic. David

Camy, it has been awhile since we last heard from you. I hope all finds you well. It sounds like life is not to fun right now, well I know how that is. If you have checked out my blog lately you would understand too. I unlike you have to put the details in. It is like therapy for me. I am glad you are writing and I will have to go and read your story since I like your summer story so well. Feel free to contact me if you just want to chat. Or PM me or email me and I will give you my IM address's. Try to keep smiling. The universe does work in strange ways and it shows us things in the most odd timing. But it reveals itself all in good time. David
  23. Wow Nick, I am sorry that you are having a tough time but at least you have your BF. Hehe I hope he makes it throught the morning? Hehe If you know what I mean. Well, that is good that school is going okay and I am glad you and your dad talked. Sometimes parents don't understand what kind of stress they are putting on you and it could make it worse instead of better. So, maybe if you and him talked it out he might understand your side a little. I am a big advocate of sitting down with the rents and having an "open table" discussion where no one is allowed to get mad or at least act out and you have to listen to what the other person is saying before commenting again. Now I am the worst, because I don't listen that well and I am always thinking about the next thing I want to say instead of listening to the other person. So I always have to watch that. But, I have seen it solve a lot of family issues. Thanks for the cool note on the blog. I am really glad that I can do something to support you and get attention to your stories. They are the best. And Kevin and Michael are the best too!! I think a lot of both of them as well. Keep your head up and can't wait for the next chapter of either WTD or B.Bay. Hugs, David
  24. Wow, that kind of stuff sends me right over the edge everytime!! And yes I was crying by 1/2 way through it. Tears of joy and admiration seem to always be the best kind. Thanks for sharing that, it was awesome!! David
  25. Nick, I am so proud of you, congratulations on your 1000th Post!! You are a real trooper to have made it this far. I hope I get to 100 soon!!! LOL You just keep posting and most importantly keep writing, I love your stories. You are my most favorite author now after reading all your works. David
