Myr's post in Trouble posting a comment to a story was marked as the answer
I confirm there is an error. It seems isolated to this one chapter. I've reported it to our programmer.
So, stand by for the moment.

Should be all set. Anthology categories are locked from edits, so staff need to do it.

Myr's post in Issue with Reviews not appearing? was marked as the answer
Reviews are only shown on Complete stories. when you changed from Complete to Long Term Hold, you turned off reviews on the story. The system only allows comments until the story is done. when a story is done, you can review it.

Myr's post in Using World Building genre? was marked as the answer
You should post a story with it in the World Building Category (not fiction)
https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/category/149-world-building/
Select the World Building Genre Type.
Then you should create a World. (Worlds are unordered stories existing in the same world. Series are directly connected ordered stories. ie A Trilogy or such)
Then add your new world building story to the World. And your main story.
Here is an example of how I did my own world. One of those is a world building entry and two short stories:

Myr's post in Stories with same title - notification bug was marked as the answer
Notifications in the system do not use title to track items. Everything in the background has an id number and notifications are tracked by that ID. If you got a notification for a story, it's because you followed that story or author. In this case, the author, as it was alerting a new story.

Myr's post in Page view count? was marked as the answer
Lots of factors play into it. but Stories almost always have that pattern. Especially stories posted over a length of time. (Say once a month). Some people will reread all posted chapters before reading the new chapter. Or the author may have posted the first chapter on a slow day on site, so got a lot more clicks than usual.
Views are only an indicator. Reactions, recommendations, and reviews are more reliable indicator of how people are enjoying a story.
@ReaderPaul, pretty much yes.

Myr's post in Question about Genres was marked as the answer
In the story archive, categories are something different and are labeled as such qhen you edit stories. You are asking about Genres and Sub-genres so i fixed your topic title.
You can choose any sub-genre that makes sense for your story. The primary genres are set automatically when you select a sub genre. So if you set Family Saga as a subgenre it will automatically show under Literary Fiction Primary genre.
The system will squawk if you set too many sub-genres. If you have that many you want to set, then the story probably lacks focus or you just need to set experimental as you aren't fitting into genre fiction.
