Two Users One Household

I have tried to find the answer to this question but failed. So if someone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

My husband, who is a lurker, wants to join but I think I've read that you can't have multiple accounts under the same IP address. Is there a way for him to join though we share the same devices and IP address?

Well, it's more that we don't allow one person to have multiple accounts.  The easiest method for checking that is to check for duplicate IP addresses.  Historically speaking, this rule is in place because of the drama of one person running two accounts and getting into arguments with themselves and otherwise causing drama.  I hate drama.

He's allowed to create an account. @drpaladin and other site moderators will be aware.
