  1. More Relaxing Christmas Music:
  2. Also, if you see the Pic in my signature... While waiting for the next site update, where we can put series down in the signature and have them explode as stories do, I went a different route.
  3. Finally got it, and I was dragged out of the house kicking and screaming this morning. I had to go to Walmart. Alright, a bit dramatic there, but *sigh* I had to go to Walmart. Surprisingly... there was not a soul to be found, aside from the workers, and two little old ladies in the bakery department looking at the marked down baked goods. Well, I was too.
  4. My Granddad had a lot of Bing Crosby stuff and would play some of the Christmas stuff every year.
  5. Not fully awake yet. In desperate need of coffee.
  6. Morning. You know what day it is?
  7. Sleep Well, my Brother.
  8. The Four of his I've read, all suspense: A Density of Souls The Snow Garden Light Before Day Blind Fall
  9. I've read a few of his. I bought in hardback, his debut novel A Density of Souls, that he wrote when he was 22. And he co-wrote a story with his mother Ramses The Dammned: The Passion Of Cleopatra. Oh, and he's gay. A Density of Souls, made his mother ask him, "Did this happen to you?"
  10. You're welcome, my Brother. But I do think you're that good. Your writing sometimes reminds me of Christopher Rice. He's Anne Rice's son.
  11. Have I mentioned lately, that patience isn't a virtue that I have? LOL. Nah, the last chapter he sent me, chapter 7, left me with wanting to know what happens next. There have been some heartbreaking scenes over the last seven chapters. A lot of positive stuff, but a few, where tim expertly slams his fist into your chest and rips out your heart, all Temple of Doom style. Which is a good thing. Let's just say, after reading what I have so far with Changes 2, I feel that tim needs to publish both Changes 1 and Changes 2. It's that fraking good.
  12. If he's doing changes 2, then usually after he does the edits he passes it to miss molly and me. I'm jonesing for the next chapter. 🙂

    Chapter 1

tim tells me that a lot... often followed by, "You can do better than this A." I didn't realize what the premise of this story was until he told me after I read the little teaser. I was floored.
  14. I see a chapter in my future. 🙂
  15. LOL, thanks. I would be doing schoolwork, but I've done everything I can until the professor gives back last week assignment. Just minor stuff with TC4-C1. tim gave me some great feedback on a couple of spots that needed work. TC4-C2 working on one scene at a time, and then taking a break before going back to it. Just plotting Cia's game, which is turning into a pain. I'm trying to hit the minimum word count of 100 words. The Alex and Dean is just outlining. After the one I did last year, I felt I should revisit them.
  16. Doing well, Mac. Working on my writing projects: Tampa Chronicles 4 C1 and C2, Cia's Christmas newsletter game, and a Christmas story with Alex and Dean. And listening to some Bing Crosby Christmas songs.
  17. Some old time, good time Christmas Music
  18. Another TSO song, that is my absolute favorite by them! The lights are good too.
  19. Being a mom comes before everything else. I'm glad Baby J is fine.
  20. I know! I keep adding them to the list for me to do and never get too them.
  21. Interesting prompts. I'm liking #720. A Timely prompt for Thanksgiving.
  22. I find it a joy to be able to read some of tim's stories before anyone else. He first sent me a little taste of the story, and even when it wasn't completed it was a solid gut-punch to the feels. Then when he sent it later on to be Beta Read, I needed a box of tissues sitting next to me on the couch, and the fam kept asking me if I was okay, because I would be crying. Great story, loved it. I highly recommend it, and a warning... Have a box of tissues and your favorite adult beverage on standby.

    Chapter 1

I'm going to sound like an oddball... But I felt this was a very beautiful story about love. How love endures, how families react when a cherished loved one passes, and that feeling of starting a new loving relationship. In total, I've read this story 15 times. The first 10 was just because it was that damn powerful, and at times, I couldn't see the monitor through the tears. It reminded me a lot of how I felt when family members passed away due to cancer. For the last five passes, I had to "harden my heart," and look at it without feeling anything, so that I could properly Beta Read the story. Easier said than done.
