  1. The nap I took was good. 🙂 Here's a Joke before I head off to do schoolwork, I've been putting off till I got last week's assignment back. What's the best part about llamas doing improv? I'll be around. This week's modules are on editing and revising your papers.
  2. Just being respectful, Bro. 🙂 I do recommend it, as I feel it's a strong, well-written fantasy story. Lot's of details. Both tim and BB can tell you that when I say something is good, I mean it. If it stunk, I would say it did. And I wasn't kidding about the chapter lengths. 1. The Impanni of the Weald - 13,549 Words - 628 Views -3 Comments 2. The Karggars of the Grey Wilds - 18,252 Words - 367 Views - 6 Comments 3. The Osserians of the Fens - 24,410 Words - 353 Views - 4 Comments 4. The Arbarii of the Salt Shore - 27,167 Words - 308 Views - 2 Comments And I need to correct my claim of not having any stories around the 27,000 mark. I have 4 that are between 18,000 and 32,000 words. But they are my multiple chapter ones with at least five chapters.
  3. You two enjoy it. Stay Warm!
  4. I was about to say I'll post it if tim says it was fine, as this is his thread. It's called Wulf's Blut by Stephen Wormwood.
  5. Good Morning, Bro. I hope today is a great day for you. Stay Warm. I'm about to lay down and try to take a nap. Almost fell asleep on the couch. There's a story on GA I've been reading. Ongoing and up to chapter four. Haven't had the time to read chapter 4 yet. Reason being each chapter has been 18,000 to 27,000 words. EACH chapter is that long. I don't think any of the stories I've done have even hit 27,000 words for the whole work!

Good advice, and a nice refresher. Titles are my weakness.
  7. You did. 🙂 I gave you a shout out, for the inspiration.
  8. An official good morning. Been up since about 4:00 am. You know what today is? It's CATURDAY!!!
  9. The Year was 1985... a star studded cast of singers got together and did this song. Sadly, I don't think it can be done in 2018.
  10. I think I'll head that way as well.
  11. Sleep Well, Reader! Stay Warm!
  12. @mollyhousemouse the colors are darker, but yeah, them.
  13. One size fits most. 🙂
  14. This is what I meant by Kermit sipping tea.
  15. Got some toasty socks on. Rainbow colored, and it has toes. Yes, I can go all Basic Queen... I was REAL bad when I was 21. Dropping salt, shady as all hell... all when I should have been like Kermit and just sip my tea. Thanks, Reader.
  16. I hear ya. I've been drinking a lot of "warm" drinks. Hot chocolate, Hot Tea, warm water, coffee earlier... cause for some reason, anything cold makes it worse.
  17. Oh, you can go ahead and make fun of me for making fun of the cold weather. Our temps were down into the 40's last night, and again tonight. High today was the mid-50's... And I already have a fraking head cold. Nose stopped up, hacking and coughing more than usual, and that achy feeling all over.
  18. Those usually turn out to be the best stories.
  19. Already sounds interesting!
  20. Another one... What do you call a herd of cattle in flight to Omaha?
  21. In between my busy university course load for this module (my university is one class at a time for five-week), and just general life stuff, I've been working on the next story in my series. In one of the scenes in this chapter, without prior thought, I dropped in "BayAuthors.Org" as a writing website one of the characters goes to read online stories. After doing a brief description of the website, I realized I had just described GA. I'm about to take it out, but it made me think about Meta-Stories, or as some call it, Shattering the Fourth Wall. I've done it once in a Prompt story in "My Shorts" about AJ and Tommy. Using @Timothy M.'s Clueless Camping as a reference to where they got the idea of matching engagement rings. (Which, btw, I love that Danish tradition and if/when I get married, we'll be doing it.) So what about you all? What do you think about Meta-Stories? Have you done one? Would you read a story that shattered the fourth wall?
  22. Mental Break, joke time. Why did the cat cross the road?
  23. Morning... Our internet went down for maintanence last night. Didn't get to do what I had planned. Instead, here's a Kitty:
