  1. Always welcomed.
  2. Yeah, I've been looking at YouTube vids on the route from Tampa to Boston. Using the Amtrak website, the trains it had me booking was the Silver Star from Tampa to Washington D.C. on an overnight trip. Then a layover in D.C. till the Northeast Express leaves later that night for another overnight to Boston's South Station. They will be in Boston for a week, arriving Monday, with Adam and Robert busy for three days finishing up legal stuff, and the others will be sightseeing until they leave to go to D.C. for the 4th of July.
  3. This story was Deliciously sweet, tim. Excellent job loved it. 🙂
  4. Thank you very much, JeffreyL. Your comment is much appreciated, and I'm glad you love my boys. I try not to have favorites, but Book 3 is mine so far. Book 4 is in development. With a minor setback (make sure your cloud storage program is off and uninstalled before data shredding your old device) Chapter 1 is done (again) and starting Chapter 2 (again). It will be some time before it gets posted, as I want it completely done, edited, and polished before I post it. Also, I work on it after I do my University classwork.
  5. Thanks for reading and the comment, FanLitt. When the place went out of business over 20 years ago, it was the only place that sold it. When the restaurant, was sold to the new owner, he got everything, including all the recipes. The pies are made fresh daily in house now.
  6. Thanks, Butcher56. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and the series as a whole.

    Rogue’s Gallery

To be honest, I hadn't noticed how many had green eyes till you pointed it out. I swear it was subconsciously done. LOL

    Rogue’s Gallery

Kinda partial to them. I see them in the mirror every day. LOL 🙂
  9. Never heard of the Teddy Bear's Picnic until today. If I remember too, I'll look it up later.
  10. Excellent poems, my brother. It took me a while to think of the right words today. I'll echo Kitt, in that the first one shows a lot of love between two people. While it may have been written about you and Mike, it can be applied to many different relationships. The second one spoke to me something fierce, and it's the reason why it's taken me a while to comment. I still can't put into words, what it's making me think and feel about.
  11. Both are really good, but 713 will be written!
  12. "The conclave shall now begin. The first topic of discussion, how can we get rid of the pumpkin spice craze?"
  13. Excellent poems, tim. I could see the birds with how you describe them.
  14. This has been a great story, and it's captivating. I'm loving all the plot twists and turns, and it's a very vibrant and well throughout world. Excellent.
  15. This story has been revised from its original version.

    Conflict

This was a timely article, as I've been struggling with a conflict in the next installment of my series. It helped reinforce what I already knew but presented in a different light. I kept wondering if I was doing this one conflict element as a story plot prod, conflict for drama sake, or if the characters involved were really like the way I was writing them. With how I develop my characters, they each have a life of their own. I have an intention of how I want a character, but once I'm writing, and in their mindset when it's their turn in my Third-Person format, they can go in a direction that is different than what I intended. Which is at the crux of my conflict about the conflict in my story for these two specific characters. The bad guy is not as bad as I intended.
  17. That it does. LOL
  18. 710 is just screaming to be done... another added to the infinite list of ones to do.
  19. "Write for an audience of one, [yourself]." - Metatron, scribe of God, Supernatural S11E20. While I like the serial posting style, after some experiences, I've decided only to publish when the story is complete. That way I know, it's been written, edited, re-written, edited again, and then polished with a proofread. Having readers leave you because you're not posting to their mindset of when it should be published is a blow to the ego, but you eventually get over it. But, I'll admit it hurts when it happens. Frankly, I care too much about how my product is presented, which is why I go through several steps before posting my significant projects. If I didn't, I would say frak it and post everything, errors and all. I do with some as they are short scenes and practice pieces, kept in two collections labeled that they are RAW pieces, which I feel are good enough to showcase my writing style.
  20. Thanks once more for helping with this chapter, all the good feedback, and leaving a comment here. Yes, Adam is a little bit of a control freak, but he's open to input from everyone. The self-fulfilling prophecy is close to the mark. The main reason why he hasn't let Giles sleepover more, was because of what happened the night that Rob moved back in from his parents in the last book. He's waiting for Rob to prove he's responsible enough to allow Giles back over. He knows they are having some sort of sex, but he's waiting a bit.
  21. Thanks for reading and helping to edit this chapter, BB. I more align with Travis too, than I do my core family members. I guess being poor most of my life, I like my characters to be able to afford some nice stuff.
  22. Another excellent chapter. I've come to find the characters well thought out, and the writing well developed.
  23. Meditation is something more people should do when it comes to self-reflection. I know that is something I lack at times.
  24. If you're of the praying sort, say one for Florida. It's a bad one headed for the panhandle. For our members in Lower Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas, if they say to evacuate, do it. Don't play games or be stupid.
