One hell of a good story @Mark Ponyboy Peters. Looking forward to Book 2. Thought that keeps popping into my mind, could Nate come back to KF and find a just over 3-year-old toddler that looks just like him running around a store. Hopefully by the times Nate does come back, The series of painting at the beach at Thompsonville, The latest at KF with the boys and rock finding and others will be shown in some art exhibits around NSW and other parts of the country. With both Jake and Danny making big names for themselves too.

Another great chapter. Spent lots of time in NO, Baton Rouge in the 80's and 90's. So much fun goes on there. 3 for 1 drinks during happy hour was really great. I was there one time in the late 80's and the Quarter had cute sailors in a white uniform that I had never seen before. They were all over the place. The drifted into the Parade a gay bar and nightclub that I really liked. One of them spoke very good English and said they were with the Dutch Navey and that they had just gotten shore leave. I don't think any of the ones in the Parade had to pay for their own drinks that I know of. Since Katrina I have only been back 2 times and that was to the casino's. 2007 and 2010. Love that place.

Since I have read the story before, I am enjoying reading all the comments. It has been a while and reading 100's of stories since then, it is only vaguely familiar as I read the story. And as I read more of it, later parts or coming back too me. So I am not commenting much on it. But this is really a very good story.

I first read this story a number of years ago on I believe the old CRVBOY site and loved it. Very well written and glad to see it on GA were we all can share thoughts about the story. Thank you Mark for all your fine work. Keep it up. Here is a pic of A 1976 Holden HJ Sandman Panel Van. and one with the side windows too.

If I remember right he is still 25, may have turned 26..

This really is an excellent chapter. Stef the actor and he put Julian in his place. If this is going to be the wrap up for the season. I don't think he will be back for season 2. They may kill the character off or replace him with another Julian. I doubt if Stef will let it go on with him in it. Wow! JJ may have found his calling. I bet Stef has his work on Travis place spotlighted in a magazine. Designed by JJ~ Thanks Mark.

As always, Granger rides in style. He is getting all kinds of information on the Spanish Fleet. Daventry is getting to see first hand how much loved George is in Spain, and making his job a lot easier in being a friend of George's. Thanks Mark for this new Chapter. It really was a surprise, being it is a Thurs. I have been looking every Sunday hoping you would give us some George love. But thank you.

Just like "The Sea Change Series" this is an excellent story. From beginning to the end. Very well written. Thank you @Mark Ponyboy Peters for the wonderful story. I really do hope you go back to or include Grayson and Raffa in some of your future stories. Keep up the great work. "

That really was a great treat and a great chapter. For now I think all things are good in the world for Will and Travis. I believe Travis will succeed in brushing off Kendo's advances. I thought Will kept a car up in Malibu at the 2 houses up there all of the time and one in at Palo Alto too. Thanks Mark.

I kept getting the same things. So I picked to things they were asking for and then the skip buttom finally popped up so I kept hitting skip until I got thru it. I have never gotten anything like that before from G/A.
-
Wow! I really don't think Travis will have the strength to not fuck Kendo, even though he swore he would not. Will has put him in a bind. If he does, Will won't let it go and will dump him. I don't really think they are meant to be anyhow. Great chapter Mark. Look forward to the next one.

Epilogue: Normal Families?
pickuptoy commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Epilogue: Normal Families?
Thank you so much for this story. I really have enjoyed reading it. I do hope that in the future you give us some look ins to the lives of Owain, Colin, Joe, and Mhairi. Let us know how now Joint construction and design company is doing. How the Joe's revised theatrical event along with the library special exhibit of Owain and Mhairi's grandfather and family past history goes across to the community. They might be surprised when it all comes out that the old man's contribution really was a very positive impact on saving Allied Forces from being taken over by Hitler. Rather than just a evil part of war that some narrow minded groups want to accept. If it hadn't been for the efforts of many manufacturers rapidly converting their factories from peacetime to wartime production we all may have been speaking either German or Japanese today. Both in Europe and the US manufacturing just about stopped for nothing but the war effort. In the US there were about 3 million automobiles built in 1941 during the war less than 200 autos were built in the same plants. They heavy trucks, tanks, aircraft engines. I read an article about that just a few weeks ago. The toy company Lionel Trains started making items for warships like compasses etc. Housewives went to work in factories making bombers, parachutes, grenades, helmets, things like that. Owain and Mhairi may end up being honored for what their grandfather had done, and not embarrassed or ashamed like their dad was. But again, thank you for this very good story. I do hope you do give us more on this one in the future. -
@Gary L The Beach Boys sang all these songs posted. Hot Rod Lincoln was by someone else. But the Beach Boys are easily in the top 10 Greatest or most popular Rock n; Roll Bands from the US. Billboard Magazine has them as the 19th best band of their top 50 in the world. Best Rock Bands of All Time: Full Top 50 Revealed Classic Rock History has them listed as 21st. 100 Greatest Rock Bands of All Time - ClassicRockHistory.com

Thanks Mark. Like I have said before. You are the best!! As always a meal at Escorial is very entertaining. And I really liked it when Frank stayed in his seat and didn't get up and leave with Isadore. “I’m sorry about this,” Frank said in his raspy voice. “I’ve tried to reason with her, but she won’t listen.” That is the very first time that I have ever thought that Frank had a backbone and balls. He has always just like a henpecked man, followed her lead and left with her. Maybe if the band gets famous and Travis' gets famous in his acting career. He might do some appearances with them when it is convenient. Would give them both a super boost in the publics eye.

Great start to this story. Looking forward to reading all of it. Thanks for doing what you do. @Robert Hugill

Nature Reserve – 24 December
pickuptoy commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Nature Reserve – 24 December
I was hoping that Jamie might be a really good match for Russ. And Russ sweep him off his feet and get him set up with a job at the center since he is a donor and has some influence there. Not wanting to take him away from Brian and Gordon, but maybe an addition. But maybe lifelong friendships will begin with him, Jamie, and Cathal. With and extent un to Brian, Gordon and Toby. -
Bus journey – 21 December
pickuptoy commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Bus journey – 21 December
A very good beginning to ths 4th book. Finding out more about the mysterious Mr. Russ. A somewhat more about Armon. Looking forward a reading more in this great series. Thanks Robert. -
Thanks Mark. Summer break for Will and Marie sounds like it is going to be very interesting. Kalibra seems to be making a pretty good and fast start. I don't know if JP is going to give in at all on his prized cars to the grandkids. I don't blame him either. Looking forward for you next release. Keep up the great work.

Thanks again @Mark Arbour for all you do for us. Great Chapter. Only disappointment was there was no prize money for Granger to get Weston started off winning. With the war temporarily stopped was hoping a fat pirate ship might have been lurking about after a merchant ship, or were about to overtake the ship Cavendish and Elizibeth were aboard. I miss the excitement at sea. Daventry is just a damned old cockblocker, that he is. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

Thanks Mark. Another great chapter under you belt. Keep up the awesome work. You are the best. Will warned Travis how it was going to be with this Julien character when he found out about the script and that Julian was a method actor. He knew it was going to bring back the bad memories for Travis. That he needed to get with Casey about it or another therapist. Travis brushed him off and said he could handle it. Maybe he won't snap in 2 days.

As always you have did it again, Mark. Wonderful story. They both survived the war and are together again. Hopefully for a lifetime. But for many it was the opposite. Some one of them didn't come back from the front lines. Some did, but unlike Jack, they were not able to carry their lover back with them. Many for the same reason, the lover was male. Imagine how many Gabriel's that were left behind. Hopefully they found love with others and time helped heal them. I am sure a few never got over it, the Gabriel's and the Jack's too. Thanks Mark.

I hardly ever read short stories, always looking for long, multi chapters, or trilogies, or multiple books. I was a little bored and going thru some of the past stories I have read and making sure I had clicked follow and rating of them. Mark Arbour is my favorite author on this site with his two fine continuing epic stories he has on GA. So I am going back and making sure I read or re-read some of his short stories and rating them too. I had failed to rate this one when I read it five and a half years ago. "2nd Chance is a touching story of 2 old men that should have met when they were young. Hell I am 68 and same age as they were when they finally met. One was 68 and the other was 69. Read it, you will be glad you did. Thanks @Mark Arbour you are the best.

Second time reading this wonderful story. I don't read a lot of short stories, but this one is most definitely worth reading at least twice, if not more. I am now 68 years old, the same as Pete was. I loved this sentence from about the 3rd or 4th paragraph. "And sucking dick was something I knew how to do. I’m a pro. If it were a martial art, I’d be a black belt."
