I hate George being stuck on land. I know it is almost a year and a half before war with France starts back again. Wish he might be sent out on a ship to bust up some pirates that have been nagging the trade routes between Britain and the US. Something to keep him from being bored and adding to his wealth at the same time. Maybe George can be helpful in getting the Rosetta Stone to England or at least helping escort it in. Anything to help the doldrums of peace for a Captain of the sea like Granger.

@Mark Arbour Thank you for the latest chapters on both of your great stories. I'm glad that Will and Marie are together at the same place. They are good for each other. I would have liked to have heard the ass chewing that JP got from Stef over the JJ ordeal. I don't think he will be bon Brad band wagon again anytime soon. I bet Will will end up fucking Preston soon. Might be the first cock up Preston's ass, but I bet he has had other things up it in the past. He just hasn't had the chance so far. Looking forward to next chapter. How well will the dangerous meeting go? Could this be a setup?

Great Chapter Mark. JJ is lucky that he has Will on his side and looking after him. And I truly believe Will and would gladly give JJ any portion of his trust that was originally intended for him to begin with. Darius will too. Great Chapter!! Will made the right calls with Ryan and the band, and also with Casey. Claire is going to be alright. Where is Luke isn't that his name that she has been dating? I have not seen where he has been mentioned since we heard about Jack, or even farther back than that. I eagerly waiting on the Celebration of Life for Jack. Is Patrica Hobart going to crash back through lift arm or gate if they have it replaced before then? Is Jack's father still alive? If so maybe he will call and get permission to attend. Thanks @Mark Arbour for all you do.

Tonto was my favorite character in this series of books. Will is my second favorite. Brad my third, and Stef my fourth fav. Not all of us have a burr up our ass about Will. And by the way this story has been told so far, I think Will is the favorite of JP, Stef, and Brad. I believe they see his ability to lead the family dynasty in the future. We don't know how many more books of CAP there will be. But without Will I don't think the story would be near as interesting.

I have done that with "Bridgemont Series" 3 times for the first 7 stories and 2 times for the rest. On over in the winter when days are short and cold outside I intend to read this "CAP Series" again. I intend to do a list of all the guys that Will has had sex with.

I just have a feeling that Jack is going to make it thru the infection. The ten family inscribes on the gold cylinder caught Elizabeth's attention. As far as I can remember that I know of she had never had any dealings with any of the Buck's. As it has been brought up in a few comments in the past chapters. Could she have been behind all the attacks on Travis? The mining aspect of this story could be the tie in between the two families. Thanks @Mark Arbour for this last update. I am aware of that. Mark has done a really good job of timing his stories with history and historical characters. More so with Bridgemont. But also with CAP he has inserted historical events into the storyline. Will really be glad when the Treaty of Amiens is signed in a few months and then end in just a little over a year. Story is a lot more exciting when George in at war on the seas.

That may be Carmella's intentions for Lady Elizabeth and Cavendish to hook up. Cavendish being one of the High Peer family and her with a sizeable dowry. Would help Cavendish with his father too.

Well Jack isn't dead yet that we know of. With Mark you can never tell witch direction he is going to go or take in the fork in the road. His infection may start responding to Cipro antibiotic or something else. Be funny if he recovered and him and Claire get back together and Luke and Jessica become attracted to each other. I think Mark has a spinning wheel when he has a cliff hanger. He spins the wheel and whatever scenario slot the pointer lands on that is the direction he takes. Keeps us wanting the next chapter even more. I need my Granger.

Very true about JJ, and when you have Billions it really is just like an every day shopping event.

Well we didn't hear most of what the others got. But JP's present from Stef would well surpass the Rolls. The large unground tanks and all the buried collection system lines alone will be very expensive. But a 40-bay garage designed in the Escorial will be well over a million by itself even back in 2005. I've been in the building materials business for just over 48 years.

If I remember right. From the time Jack and Claire split up. Will sided heavily with Claire and him and Jack have had some run in about it. Some during dinners at Escorial, and a other times. When Claire sided with JJ, it hurt Will after how he took sides and stood for and supported her. And I think Jack also got very pissed with Will because of his coaching John how to stand up for himself about being in the band instead of school. And also, how Will was the point man over the revolt of the parents tracking them with their phones. Jack and Will were very close up until the phone ordeal, but the break up of Jack and Claire really turned them sour. Maybe not enough for him to turn against the family. I don't know. But some of the gold digging young ladies and especially the one he got pregnant has to be costing him ton's of money. He may have made some investment trying to make some quick returns. Maybe not with Buck or Fellows, but some kind of relationship with one of the partners in the law firm. I don't know how much he has without Claires fortune to pull from. He may very well have had a reckoning and taking time away to reboot his life. But something is going on with him.
