As far as I can remember that I know of she had never had any dealings with any of the Buck's. As it has been brought up in a few comments in the past chapters. I am aware of that. Mark has done a really good job of timing his stories with history and historical characters. More so with Bridgemont. But also with CAP he has inserted historical events into the storyline. Will really be glad when the Treaty of Amiens is signed in a few months and then end in just a little over a year. Story is a lot more exciting when George in at war on the seas.

That may be Carmella's intentions for Lady Elizabeth and Cavendish to hook up. Cavendish being one of the High Peer family and her with a sizeable dowry. Would help Cavendish with his father too.

Well Jack isn't dead yet that we know of. With Mark you can never tell witch direction he is going to go or take in the fork in the road. His infection may start responding to Cipro antibiotic or something else. Be funny if he recovered and him and Claire get back together and Luke and Jessica become attracted to each other. I think Mark has a spinning wheel when he has a cliff hanger. He spins the wheel and whatever scenario slot the pointer lands on that is the direction he takes. Well we didn't hear most of what the others got. But JP's present from Stef would well surpass the Rolls. The large unground tanks and all the buried collection system lines alone will be very expensive. But a 40-bay garage designed in the Escorial will be well over a million by itself even back in 2005. I've been in the building materials business for just over 48 years.

If I remember right. From the time Jack and Claire split up. Will sided heavily with Claire and him and Jack have had some run in about it. Some during dinners at Escorial, and a other times. When Claire sided with JJ, it hurt Will after how he took sides and stood for and supported her. And I think Jack also got very pissed with Will because of his coaching John how to stand up for himself about being in the band instead of school. And also, how Will was the point man over the revolt of the parents tracking them with their phones. Jack and Will were very close up until the phone ordeal, but the break up of Jack and Claire really turned them sour. Maybe not enough for him to turn against the family. I don't know. But some of the gold digging young ladies and especially the one he got pregnant has to be costing him ton's of money. He may have made some investment trying to make some quick returns. Maybe not with Buck or Fellows, but some kind of relationship with one of the partners in the law firm. I don't know how much he has without Claires fortune to pull from. He may very well have had a reckoning and taking time away to reboot his life. But something is going on with him.

Thanks @Mark Arbour for this this newest chapter. Again great job. Could Jack be involved with Fellows and might he have been involved with Curtis Buck somehow in the past in some way. I know he is a very successful Dr. or surgeon and makes big money. But he is just a peon compared to Claire. Could he have doing some kind of positioning with Buck before his death? He doesn't like Will at all, so he has no emotional ties to Travis.

If that is where you want to keep him that is fine too. If this was the real world I really don't think mentally he will survive. I don't see him surviving if Kris was to leave him. If I remember right, Kris has walked out for a short period a couple of times. He will put up with just so much. I don't see him as a gold digger, but he has gotten comfortable with the lifestyle. I may be wrong but don't see him putting up with a lot of JJ's mood swings.

All part of him changing and getting better to live more of a normal person. I know being a part of a billionaire family you can not be a normal person. But being a productive part of society increasing the wealth or helping in the philanthropy of it. If he can show his talents in both decorating and fashion. He might can give Stef and idea of adding a spin off his magazine portfolio with JJ heading that line up. Something like Home Design Magazine or Luxe Interiors and Design, or maybe even HGTV style show for Stef's production empire. If he is just going to lay around the condo in the city waiting on a fashion event, shopping spree, or his next visit to his shrink might as well kill him off as a few have suggested or wanted. I had rather see him successful and productive, than a spoiled rich introvert. But a lot of very wealthy families have a few like that.

Travis asking JJ to do his Manhattan Beach makeover may be the best thing that could ever happen to JJ getting his mental state truly in the right direction. If he does a outstanding job and we all know he will, his self worth will go way up. Maybe he will get some surf time in also and him and Will, and Brad can get a little closer. There may be some hope for him again.

I have just finished reading the Bridgemont Series for the 3rd time uip thru about the end of HMS Valiant, and now 2nd time for Northern Exposure and thru this one for Peace of Amiens. Have held off asking any questions that I might have. What ever happened to the ships Rat dog Ranger. Was he killed in a battle, or left with one of Granger's ships he gave up. After he was introduced only was mentioned a couple of times. Also what happened to Matheus, bastard son of Count Axel von Fersen that Granger took on as his charge. Granger introduced him to his son Williams governor and told him to was to be Matheus's governor too. Then later when he was talking with Spence the boy's governor. When Granger introduced his kids to the King when they were visiting his how in Cowes he never mentioned Matheus then or since he had gotten home after introducing him to Mr. Spence. Just wondering what happened to Ranger and Matheus. Matheus seemed like a very fun loving and bright kid. Thanks @Mark Arbour reading this story multiple times makes it even better. This is my 3rd time reading the Bridgemont Series. I thought that Chartley was barred from every stepping foot in London or any part of England except the far norther part or Ireland by "The Brotherhood" specifically The Duke of Clarence Prince William.

That is what flashed through my mind too. George's grandfather would help protect them. But his also is getting old. Chartley is only a couple of years older than George. So that might only be temporary because of how much longer his grandfather will be Govenor there.

Me too! I know everybody has their own sexual likes, fetishes, and fantasies. I was totally surprised when I saw this new chapter. Thank you so much @Mark Arbour You truly are the best! So far there have no real big explosions as I thought there would be. I was surprised with Darius jumping out and trying to instigate it. And then Will jumping him on it. I would have thought that was JP's place to do that. But Darius looking directly at Will when he said it triggered Will to address it right off. Going to be interesting what comes up next. Could Marie and Amber, or Taylor and Amber get into a knock down hair pulling brawl as the dinner ends. Maybe Darius and Ryan might tangle. Looking forward until the next one. Thanks again Mark!
