I think Claire may now be realizing the damage she has done to her family. Whether or not she chooses to go with Craig, which I don't think is going to happen, her and Jack may not reconcile, but she can start to mend things with her kids. I still think that Zach burnt his truck so he might get some pity from the family if they thought Will did it. I hope that there may be some hidden cams that might show who did burn it. I had not even considered that he might have gotten someone to do it for him, and if they were caught, they would say Will paid them to do it. But I doubt Zach would have the extra money to pay someone to burn his own truck for him. Even if he did, they are going to be in just as much trouble as they would have just done it as vandalism. I know it would nearly kill Frank to have to apologize to Will. He doesn't like Will anyway. JP like @centexhairysub said. JP truly is the heart of this story. He has been from the very first chapter in the first book. Dr. Crampton is the "Don" of the family! Thank you for the chapter, Mark!!

I see where CL has responded that Colin's dad was ok for now. I thought he might have passed away too when I was reading this chapter. But I also thought it might be that Pepe's mom might be very sick and knows she is going to die and wants to have Armand and Colin take him back and raise him.

I love it. Somehow I think that one attorney Mr. Ebenezer Scruggs may be in London a lot from now on. George may have need to have a retained attorney with all his legal affairs even with Daventry, Cavendish and Broadhead there for him too. Might become a really good bedmate for George also. George may have to get him outfitted with a new wardrobe. So Caroline may show up in 4 - 5 days. Could ger really interesting soon! Can't wait for more!

As a couple of others, @scrubber6620 @bjrh008 have suggested that Zach torched his own car, I hope that there might be a hidden cam that is somewhere near where it was parked that will show it. It would be a big slap in the face to Frank if it were true. I never have cared much for Frank in the past. He always acted like he had a cob up his ass for some reason. I think it may be more toward the gay guys in the family in general. I believe he might think Zach could go straight if he could stay away from Will. But he has seemed to be more distant thru the years from Dan, Stef, Grand, even Wade to some extent if I recall right. Not as cool to Robbie, Matt, and certainly not Zach.

His portrait there makes me think of that Prince William looks a lot like him.

What a pleasant surprise it was when I saw your latest release of a new chapter. And it was a top-notch chapter too. Granger just dove right into the battle with all cannon blazing! Wow! Just Wow! Caroline is going to blow her top when she finds out all that he has accomplished so far. I can't wait until she shows up at Portland Place or at Brentwood and is refused entry. George is going to have to stay alert, but I think he has all his shipped lined up for the remainder of the battle. Thanks Mark. Keep up the great work. You are appreciated!

I think you need to go back to the very first Chronicles of an Academic Predator - 1. Prologue and Chapter 1 the date of the beginning of this ongoing story is March 16, 1962. It will take you a while to catch up, but it will be well worth it. If you do. Enjoy!!

I don't know if Claire being unhappy when she ran into Will and Jake has anything to do with the divorce or not. She might have the idea that most of the family will side with Jack in the matter. Especially the gay guys. Knowing most of the guys in her family that are gay are so open about their conquest and multiple partners that so many of them have had or seeing. I have always thought it was stupid to marry a virgin of either sex. A virgin after a period of time of having sex with their mate has to wonder what it might be like to have sex with someone else. I know people when they are totally in love should not ever wonder about that. But hell, a human is a human, minds wonder about such things. But I am perverted so I might be wrong. Especially after years of being together and it sex has just became going thru the motion. I know a couple of lady friends of mine have admitted that they were virgins when they got married. When their husband had left them for younger women, and after a period of time going out on a few dates and actually having sex with another man. One said if she knew how good sex really should be, she would have divorced her ex-years ago. The other said her ex had never made her have an orgasm screwing her. She had only been married 4 1/2 years when he divorced her. She dated a number of guys and had sex with them. Said they all were better than her ex. She met a guy that was about 15 years older than she was and he rocked her world. They got married and said sex was always great with him, but he was killed in an automobile crash. Sex may have gotten stale between Jack and Claire. Claire may have gotten some dick that rocked her world again. Whether or not that one is right for her or not. She may just want to see if there or others that might rock it even better. Maybe both Jack and Claire will find the right one in the future. I believe Jake will do a good job with the Foundation.

George may have to watch how he treats Caroline though. She know enough about his escapades with men that she could start the rumors charging him with buggery, The Buggery Act of 1533 was still being enforced in 1801. Not sure who she might pull out of the wood works to accuse him if it really got nasty. But I am sure she would be willing to put up some money!

We understand. Things slip in and also slip by. I have to do a lot of emailing in my business. I can proof read one before I send it and still not see a mistake. Read it again later or after I have already sent it. I find them then. Keep up the great work.

We haven't gotten a chance to get to know the individual's of the newest set of boy's as the first set except maybe Carl has been mentioned and described more than the other. The Girls a little bit more than the boys.

I believe and at least hope that since Jack has been acting strangely lately is the stress that his and Claire's problems have caused him. I feel that it is 100% Claire wanting the divorce. Jack has always worshipped Claire. Maybe she has been having an affair with someone in the social society groups or fundraising acquaintances, that is opposite of Jack, that is more assertive or aggressive with her. Somehow, I don't think Jack is the blame in this, except maybe he is just way too dedicated and devoted to her. It may be interesting to who's side Marie and John is going to take after this announcement. I have a pretty good idea who Will is going to lean towards. Dan made the statement. “That’s all fine and good, but he’s still playing with fire here,” Dad argued. “I wonder why Curtis Buck hasn’t unleashed his demons on Zach?” Frank heard that, but even after hearing about Buck's spy Craddock, and also hearing of Buck not wanting his kid to be gay. He is still got a cob up his ass and believing Will torched Zach's truck. He said he was proud of Zach for standing up to Buck. But is blind to think Buck could be behind the torching. Great Chapter, Can't wait for your next installment Mark.

Don't give up, keep on reading, you will be in for and exciting ride of your life. You will want to just reach into this story and slap the shit out of different characters at different times. But you will not regret reading the entire story until the end. It to me is either the best or in my top 4 stories on this site, or any other site like this one. Two of which are still ongoing stories on this site, by Mark Arbour.

I tend to agree with you on that. Jack has always been the cool and calm uncle. And seemed to always be more supportive his nephews and his two. A lot more than Claire. Something just doesn't seem right with him now.

You could still have a kid. And a private jet would be very nice!

Maybe on their next trip to France or Madame Lavigne return visit, she might offer Paul a chance to come and live with her. I know she is older but he could a lot of help her in lots of ways, going to the market and help around the house. A chance for him to go to school there and learn a new culture. I think both him and Madame Lavigne would be a perfect fit. He could be like a full-time exchange student.

If I was Armand I would set down with parents and tell them until now having kids of his own, he had not realized the void that he had left them when he went both off to college and his time spent in France and then moving to Yale. Now he wished he had come home to see them more often and spent a little more time with them each visit. That it must have been a lot harder on him than it is with him since he has other sons and now daughters at home to help fill the void. I am sure they can help him with how they handled the absence of him. And that they understood his growing up and need to find his own way. That what you do when you love a child and watch them grow. The home can always get a commercial generator in case of power loses. Maybe a 125kw one That would run everything there at the home for long periods at a time. Probably cost between #30K - $40. Most hospitals and other facilities have even bigger ones or multiple generators in case of emergencies.

Travis talked on his phone for about two minutes, and I could see how angry he was. He was clearly shouting at the person on the other line. He ended the call, said a few words to the pilot, then started walking back to the car. So, there was a pilot there for Travis to talk too. Now if it was the real pilot or an imposter, I am not sure. Travis may not have been very familiar with the Buck's pilot and may not have noticed if it was the real pilot or an imposter. But I am assuming it was the real pilot. Nothing was ever mentioned about what was posted in the Society section of the papers that next morning. One of Curtis's enemies may have seen that his son was in town and checked with sources to see if the plane was there on the ground. They may have been trying to send him a warning sign, or even assumed that Curtis would never have just sent the plane for Travis's person use and thought Curtis may have been in NYC too. Lot of different ways Mark may take this event. It could be very interesting!

Great Chapter! Mark you really covered a lot in this one. Seems Will, Darius and JJ all parted on really good terms this time. Maybe JJ is beginning to grow up some. Patrick may have rose up in the rankings thanks to Will. Wow! The Buck plane in flames. I hope they bust Curtis somehow in that. I wonder if the pilots got out in time. Look forward to the next chapter and the dinner at Escorial.

Well in her travels around, a robbery gone bad, the highwaymen might get to chasing her carriage, cause a rollover and ruff her up or worse. Just kidding!! But I am sure Cavendish would make a very good overseer of Grangers kids and wealth while he is at sea. He would look good naked with the diamonds on too!

I don't think anyone that has read all the "Do Over" stories before would laugh at you. I loved everyone of them. I just wish there were a few more of them.

A few chapter ago. Ronnie was going to go to college at Michigan and Michigan is the Wolverines and In Ann Arbor, Michigan. The last couple of chapters he is going to Michigan State Spartans that are located in East Lansing, Michigan. They are very much rivals. But Roll Tide! I am a big Alabama Fan! I am glad Carl is now beginning to relax and becoming more at ease with Armand and hopefully Colin real soon.

Great story. I was a little slow warming up to it but after about the 3rd chapter I started getting into it. Keep up the great work.

I like the way that Will winds JJ up, and never lets him get by with anything sometime not even knowing that he has pulled the right ace card. “I’ll just talk to Bellona and tell her you’re being a complete asshole and won’t give me my ticket,” I said in the smarmiest way I could. “I’ll bet she can get one for me, especially if Darius asks her nicely.” That blew his blackmail attempt out the window, since the last thing he wanted was for Bellona to see him being such a bitch. He sighed, but I just ignored him and stared out the window, watching the scenery pass by. “I need you to go with me tonight, and I need you to wear the clothes I picked out for you.” I said nothing, pretending that he hadn’t said a thing. “Carullo,” he finally said, answering my question. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow, all but challenging him for doing just what I’d accused him of: throwing away love for a bunch of fashion shows. “Why is it so important that I go and that I wear the clothes you got me?” I demanded. “Bellona challenged me to see if I could make you look hotter than she can make Darius look,” he said.
