It could be. I haven't played through this game before, so your guess is as god as mine.

“Being an adult is being responsible for your life as well as your actions.” We returned the girdle to a dwarf in the inn, Jaheira taking care to ensure the correct girdle was returned. For our efforts, we got seventy gold and an order to take a bath to relieve the stench of ogre still present on us. I smelled nothing. But then, dwarves are rather strange creatures. Jaheira set a book down on the table where Khalid and Aerin were eating a small breakfast. “All that is

He has an elven build, but he also contains human heritage. Suffice it to say that while Khalid is well muscled, Aerin does not lack in the muscles either.

“Nature’s servant awaits.” The next day was bright and clear, a marked improvement over the past few days. You woke wrapped around me as you usually did, our shared body heat warming us both. We shared the cost of two rooms with Jaheira and Khalid, wanting to give them their privacy. It was the right decision if the smiles on their faces were anything to go by. We shared a breakfast from our bags, Khalid discussing the task for the next few days. There was an ogre that needed to be

“Of goblins and rings are tales untold. Of dragons and rings, there are many to behold.” You slept fitfully that night, plagued by your actions as so many before you have been. Even the warmth of my body could do little to soothe you. Not for the first time, I wondered if you might need a body to comfort you, one that was human, not dragon. If you ever found someone to give you that pleasure, I would not envy you. But while we were on the run, it was unlikely you would ever find a frie

The chapter came out fast because I waited until I was two chapters ahead before posting.

Aerin will certainly need to learn the benefit of withholding information. Perhaps Gorion's friends can help with that.
-
“You must choose your company wisely.” You ran that night and didn’t see what happened. I saw. I saw Gorion’s last stand, the fight he put up to keep you alive. His opponents were outmatched, but he was outnumbered, and though he slay many, even the strongest master may fall in the end. Aerin’s eyes opened groggily, his body cold from a night under the stars. He needed a blanket or a bedroll, and briefly, the half-elf wondered why Winthrop had not offered him one. Then th

"Some dragons mate for life." Translation: you're cute, fuck me. 😛

“Those who would destroy knowledge with ink, fire, or sword will be destroyed in turn.” -The Rule of Candlekeep I remember the first time I laid my eyes on you. A young boy of 10, golden hair and orange eyes, just starting to learn your first spell, to identify magic items. It was so difficult for you, wrapping your mind around the complexities of magic. It endeared you to me, watching you struggle. You would not give up. Unbeknownst to you, I slipped into the room where you studied, l

This is a tale of the Forgotten Realms, taken from the Baldur's Gate series. An orphan raised by a sage in the library fortress of Candlekeep is forced to flee for his life from forces who want him dead. He must discover who is hunting him and why, while keeping his friends safe. A tall order for a half-elf who has never left the library before.

Itumak stared out the window in the cabin, taking in the size of the space station they were about to dock in. He hoped Mateio knew where he was going. Without him, they would be hopelessly lost. Lian stood behind him, the Daknar’s head lowered respectfully. He was taller than Itumak in this form, but Itumak knew he towered over the alien in his wolf form. The werewolf still had no idea why his wolf had changed, but as he thought about it, he realized he kind of liked the change. Itumak had

The world was bright beyond Lian’s eyes. The Daknar opened his eyes, staring up into the light that hung from the ceiling above him. He was… alive. Who saved him? That poison should have killed him. Unless… “Can you sit up?” That was the voice of his master. He sounded concerned. But hadn’t he poisoned Lian? Why would he be concerned? The Daknar sat up, his eyes lowered. A soft hand touched his shoulder, another hand raising his chin yet again. “You don’t need to look down al

Mateio mentioned back in chapter three that merlo was safe to eat unless one was a Daknar. That conversation was only a week prior to this chapter.
-
Lian’s head hit the table hard, startling Itumak and Aaron. Itumak was at his side in an instant, lifting his torso. “Lian?! Lian!” “He’s a Daknar…” Aaron breathed. “Mateio!” A loud curse sounded, the Faro rushing into the kitchen a minute later, rubbing his head. “He ate the salad,” the elf said helplessly. “We need to get him to the health bay,” Mateio said immediately. “Itumak, you carry him. Reinard, set med pod to heal a male Daknar suffering from merlo poisoning.”

So who gets licked first? Twins? Or loup garous?
-
He wanted the creature. And it terrified him. Lian stood against the bed, calves pressing into the side of the bed. He wanted to back up further as the monster faced him, but at the same time, he wanted to embrace the furry beast that stared at him in a mixture of revulsion and lust. Those topaz eyes were on full display as Itumak bent over Lian. The beast pushed Lian over, strangely gentle for his size. Straddling the Daknar, Itumak’s rod pressed against Lian’s gut. Furry hands scra

Such a sad, lonely loup garous. Hopefully these mysterious twins can cheer him up.

“I don’t think I have ever been so happy to see a town in my life,” Margaret said, as they passed the inn. The group rode toward the town hall and dismounted in front of the wooden steps. The mayor came walking in their direction, looking more positive than he had the last time they’d seen him. “Are they dead?” he asked immediately. “No sir,” Jakni said. “Most of our group was wiped out by a horde in the forest.” The mayor’s face fell instantly. “How many were killed?” he ask

Aaron walked up the flight of stairs on Mateio’s ship, exploring the hall leading to the kitchen. Several doors sat closed on either side of the hall and the elf stopped in front of the furthest one. A sensor sat on the wall next to the door and Aaron waved his hand in front of it curiously. The door slid open with a quiet hiss, revealing a small cabin with a desk and a bed inside. A window beside the bed showed the darkness of space as they flew, stars forming pinpricks in the distance.

The mayor was standing on the front steps of the town hall, directing groups of people. He noticed the group of fighters and motioned them towards him. “We don’t see many elves around here, especially now,” he said. “These people killed at least forty kobolds, all on their own,” the old man told him. “Impressive. Tell me more,” the mayor said, turning to the group. They glanced at each other. “Um, we were just here for the night, and we heard the bell. I was in a room at the

Thomas squinted, his eyes assaulted by a bright light. He was standing in the middle of a rather large dirt road, and there were four others standing slack-jawed around him. He felt like he knew them all somehow, but he couldn't grasp any kind of memory. “Where the hell am I?” he heard one of them demand. He looked his companions over. The man, or elf, who had just questioned them was an interesting shade of medium brown, bordering on a dark brown. He had white hair that hung just past h

A group of people find themselves in the middle of a road with no recollection of where they are or how they got there. Soon they discover that their lack of memory is more nefarious than just a group of amnesiacs out for a walk. Getting their memories back is just the first step they must take on a long road that might see the end of their lives.

Lian sat in his cage, shivering in the chillness of the station. It was hard to stay warm, and often he felt like just going to sleep in the cage. But his captors constantly shocked him awake. When he had been captured, he had entertained thoughts of using that damned remote of theirs on them, But he knew better now. There was no way to remove his collar and no way to steal the remote. A young Faro had taught him that, and it had cost the fox his life. There was no way Lian was making that mista
