Not necessarily Oxy 'clean'; but as to whether he's a 'doll', depends if one of his names is Kenneth. As for the Prof and Dr's 'demands of Bell': "... he grabbed one of Bell’s ankles, then the other, pushing his knees up to expose a delightful rosebud underneath his balls. Bell kept his eyes trained to the ceiling, groaning slightly and squeezing his eyes shut, when something stiff and a little cold was steadily pushed past his anal ring"? Do the Dr and/or Prof have to use a substitute, or are they keeping with their east-coast nautical (naughty) theme, using that old sailor's tool to keep Bell 'pinned'? Belay that.

A great opening chapter Mac, learning about young Abbie (Abraham); but a sense of foreboding washed over me when Ralph, one of the Lifesaving squad said at dinner, as the Nor'easter (cyclone) continued: "I mean it, Abbie. Come give me a kiss before I disappear into the watery depths tonight.” Did Ralph have a premonition as he slept the night before while the storm raged? Will one life (Ralph) be lost to Poseidon as the sea gives up another to be saved? Waiting through the night...

I was going through tissues worrying for and about Caleb. 🥹 Hopefully this interim 'trial' stay with Billy and his 'family' works out longer term, or at least until some resolution comes about for Caleb's Mom, who he clearly loves and misses, but despite all he tried to do to care for her, a child can't and shouldn't be a care giver. Schizophrenia is not a fatal illness, if managed properly; so hopefully Caleb can visit her in treatment. Estoy de acuerdo en que Steve necesita aprender español si quiere mantenerse al día con el resto de la familia. Creo que los chicos, incluido Caleb, pueden ayudar con eso.

Except for being 6" taller, your description of 'Drain' is almost bang on for my late cousin Barry who was a radio station owner, 'on-air' personality, who used his own mellifluous speaking abilities (in a variety of octaves, accents, dialects and languages) to work as a much sought after 'voice-over' 🎙️ for movies, cartoons, documentaries and commercials; while living in California.

No one has heard reports of "Urban Bigfoot" before, but since the 'Karenus Nosyus' breed are known to yak incessantly, if she sees one in the yard and mentions it, someone will report her to authorities and she'll get a '72-hour mental health hold'. And, since she can't shut up, she might get an extended stay at the rubber room hotel?

Since Mhairi and Owain's father ran their grandfather's successful pre-war and WWII (armaments and 'other' products) company into insolvency and bankruptcy, there was likely no money or taxable assets for IRCE (Inland Revenue, Customs and Excise under Geo. VI during WWII) to levy Income, Corporate or Capital Gains taxes. Their grandmother had set aside 'some' monies in a trust for her grandchildren. (Suspect the 'wiley' grandfather secreted money away in 'neutral' country 'offshore tax havens' like nearby IoM during the war for protection). Joe's idea of setting up a 'charitable trust' to donate monies would, if properly established, provide tax deductions AND shield the Trustees from any taxes the current HMRC (His Majesty's Revenue & Customs) might try to grab, such as the 40% Inheritance Tax. Especially if the 'trust' includes the 'Royal Clause' which delays any taxes until 'XX' years after the last heir to the monarchy dies. It all depends on how much ££££ (possibly $ if held in U.S. dollar accounts) grandmother had access to.

To paraphrase the good DDS, 'that combination is a Shite show waiting to explode', the only thing worse would be Jaeger shots. 🤮 The task at hand now is (1) how to get back at Ass't Head Monster Craig, and (2) how to get back at Chris' sperm donor. Chris' Mom will be instrumental in dealing with that, and in doing so can quash any 'donation' from Eagle Corp to the school (and sleazing its way into the Major's and Craig's pockets). And Cal's Dad, as a member of the school's Board of Directors, can initiate an investigation into any 'mishandling' of school finances.

At the beginning of this 'The End' chapter, you offer: "Heartfelt thanks to loyal readers and commenters. I take great joy from writing and pen many things that never see the light of day, but when the product can be shared, the joy doubles. Reading is as much about being made to think as it is about being entertained. I hope I’ve made you think". Let me say, in my humble opinion, (albeit an editor) that as readers we are truly blessed when we encounter an author who does much more than simply put pen to paper or write words. When we are urged to think, to become one with the story, and to somehow link with the author. The link is seldom perfect, and readers often misread the clues laid out along the way, (no quick trail of crumbs), but that is part of the process. In this ending not only do Micco and Chase finally bond together (as was preordained?), but they receive a fitting gift, in the form of a reincarnated Kane, but the pup apparently has retained previous knowledge, understanding and trust of his humans. Very good chapter @Sean J Halford, especially the swim coach's call offering support and understanding to Cal. Cal's father is very understanding of Cal and Chris' situation, and a lot calmer than I would be regarding the homophobic school. Dear old Dad should offer free dentistry to Craig, with no sedation or novocaine, and plenty of drilling.

First, John this isn't just one of your "better chapters", it's one of many and is fantastic. Second, and this is for all the readers out there; John said: "...you won't have to worry about the next two chapters at least,..." which is John's way of saying that this story is not wrapping up in two chapters. More to come. 🤞 much more.

I'm beginning to think Mr. Jordan plays for the team wearing Red HOT jackets, and not white linen when he says to Joe / Jimmy: “Listen, ingrate,... Parker wants to show you how much he loves you, and how grateful he is that you’re alive... You’re stuck in Jimmy’s body for another sixty-five years... So, get over yourself". Like they say, "The Devil's in the details".

I think 1998's 'Meet Joe Black' with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins is another version on that story too. And Pitt's better looking IMHO. Let's see where this story takes us?

The old battleaxe next door is definitely Trouble, simmering like an unwatched pot. "I'm Louella Haskins and I live next door. I’m familiar with your names, because I’m the City Clerk and I’ve seen your names on tax and property records over the years", all shouts WARNING to Devin, Mac, Grandpa and Pops! If she's a much of a muck-raker as person she's named for, and has been abusing her 'City Clerk' position to spy on 'private' individuals, it's time somebody lowered to boom on her, but done on the DL so it doesn't backfire on the boys. Perhaps they find a photo of her dead grandfather, shift into him and scare her, perhaps enough to see her moved into 'care'. Then Gramps and Pops can buy her property anonymously? Mac and Dev need to be careful she doesn't have any guns as CO is an "Open Carry Without a permit" state, despite City of Denver banning that on 2004. Shifting into a 'younger' JTT to 'catch' some sex? 'Younger' a better choice than current 42 JTW (Weiss) version, but that's what fantasy is all about.

Another great chapter @Lee Wilson with the help of @kbois. You previously stated not claiming medical knowledge, but 'Thank You' for the reasonably good job of a simplified description of Bradyphrenia. Although primarily used to describe slowed thinking and processing of information, it can also include decreased initiative, impaired memory, concentration, slowed speech, and decreased reaction time (which is why once diagnosed, doctors recommend stopping driving). An insidious condition, to say the least. With her disclosure of why she's been acting the way she has, hopefully Patty now has the help, support and understanding of those around her.

Definitely not thinking! Being an educator doesn't make him smart. Just like age + experience does not = wisdom. The single largest age group with repeated cases of STD's / STI's are not teens or college-age. It's seniors! Similarly the number of people taking PReP (to reduce risk of Aids/HIV) report higher STI/STD recurrences each month. Calling him "Dumb as a stick" is insulting to the stick.

Nothing a good plastic surgeon couldn't do wonders with. But Dylan, Dominic and Sal immediately look past what's on the surface, to 'see' the really Jackson.

Certainly is a great chapter @Robert Hugill. Standing toe to toe (as it were) in phone conversation with Sir Miles of Morals and now backing down, a bit! As for Annalise and her girls visiting, that should be fun. Although when it was said: "Those two girls chatter like mad, 'Guess where we were today, Daddy? We met Uncle Colin's boyfriend", I was expecting you to use 'Magpies' in place of 'mad'. Can't wait for their visit!
