I love how comfortable Chris is with getting into bed with Nate and not worry about his masculinity about being so close to a gay guy, he is just being a loving brother.

The guys in this story seem to be wise beyond their years and I found myself thinking that they are only 16 years old. I am looking forward to the next book in their lives

It looks like Gus has experienced some of what Ben is going through before because he knew exactly what to do, even if he was a bit abrasive towards the school staff

This is such a good chapter now that Josh knows what is going on in Ben's life, I am pleased that he finally told Josh what is going on and I can guess how difficult that must have been for him -

I thought that Dr Davis was a bit pigheaded and arrogant in her negative attitude to the situation, I thought that all she cared for was the school’s reputation and the fact that Jake would hurt another student, what’s he doctorate in? Stupidity? I think that Tyler is either going to be a lawyer or a politician, he just presents his case so well -
Oh wow what a chapter, I had tears running down my face twice as I read this, the first time was when Jacob fell apart in his counselling session and then at the park with their friends, both guys have some really amazing friends, hopefully they will be life long friends.

A great chapter but as the next chapter is titled Jacob hopefully we will know more about him. I am glad that Jacob’s mum was in court with him, he needs love and support right now more than anything else

I had figured it out earlier that Jacob was in love with Tyler, but being an athletic 16 year old young man, he simply cannot be gay because of the stereotypes that society has put on us, we’re not all limp wristed fairies. Although Jacob should have sat down with Tyler and tried to explain it all to him, but teenagers don’t clearly think things through and violence is not the answer, how would Jacob have felt if Tyler had died? He probably would have wanted to kill himself and then it would have been a waste of 2 young men, get some help Jacob

Blimey Tommy Johnson sure has some mental health issues, raping a child is just plain wrong but he will get his just desserts in jail. Another good chapter in the Volvo tales, hopefully the old girl is still chugging along 😂🌈

I have just come across this story, and really loved it and I also had a few tears in my eyes
