Another wonderful chapter. I am glad you are back. I was worried you may be dead given your age and health. Perhaps you can approach a friend to let us know when that happens or when you suddenly end up in the hospital again. I recently suddenly lost a sister and still miss her terribly. So I know how quickly you can lose someone. I hope you are better and back home again and can enrich our lives with your stories for many years to come.

Marco is a true and loyal friend, despite his own problems.
-
Then he is the best business partner you can wish.

Yes ,they can squeeze their hands with such an employee as Auggie

It looks like the new family members will fit well into the family. My only concern is whether to be able to get used to the dry heat.
-
That is not strange. There are many logical explanations for this. No quarrel will be the cause here because they have given their address. They probably moved from England to Australia in or just after the war for a better life. At that time there were no computers and making phone calls must have been virtually impossible. Difficult to keep contact. On both sides they would be busy to make a life.

Wow, that was exciting. I hope Thad will survive. And then after the Mckinneys. And only after that it is time for the mating of Trevor with Randy. Like with Aiden and Ethan we will see then if Trevor is an Alpha.

If Armand can feel something is wrong, he will feel something is wrong with one of the older boys far away when it is. What would he do , get a plane right away?
-
How special that the boys continue to visit a museum or excavation every day and stay interested. Most young people had long since dropped out. For Carl, it's a great foundation for his future as a painter.

An instructive chapter
-
Only two chapters left? A pity. But no doubt more sequels will follow. You are very good in describing surroundings and scenes. You could be a painter. I hope that the intervention will go well. Otherwise would it be a possibility that Marco comes to live with Gianni and Angelo with financial help from others.

Yes, that wat not smart to include the pigs in blanket in the menu. Without these his meal was still British tradition. Sami is too young to understand, especially since Sami has never shown himself to be a Muslim. Look at Reza, this one isn't a real Muslim either. Gianni has the weird idea of raising Sami as a Muslim, why? This is only important if Sami wants to do this himself and it is certain that Sami will later end up in a Muslim community. But this is not likely. Gianni makes it unnecessarily difficult for himself.

Armand or better Carl must paint or draw the monkey‘s interaction with Armand. When Carl is getting better he can make a painting from his drawing.

Laughing. “I’ll see you when you are finished in our studio.” I wonder if he caught the ‘our studio’. I was glad GG took a hand in his training. 👍

It is, but we don’t know why they are bad with feelings
-
Patience is a virtue. Maybe Gianni must not try so hard. I have no experience with this but in many fostering cases it does not click between child and adult, little to do about it. Gianni shouldn't put his hopes too high. Perhaps Reza is a better option for Sami. But I hope for Gianni that it will work out, but it takes time to build a relationship with a child who has been through so much. Friendship with other children is easier. And the fact that Sami protected his drawing of his parents so much shows that he can't let go of his parents yet.

Armand has a bit of the empty nest syndrome, no need for anything. The older boys will keep in touch a lot and the younger kids will keep him busy, especially Carl. He looks like a mother hen.

I wonder if the gift GG is talking about means that Carl also has a talent for painting. He is the first to show an interest in the art of painting, not only the paintings themselves. If so this would be also a great gift for Armand and he can be for Carl the teacher in painting as GG has been for Armand . Indeed, it is surprising that the 'robbery' is only now taking place, but fortunately there was an immediate adequate response with an up-to-date security system. And the older boys appear to have grown up to be valuable young men.

I haven’t reacted to this story much but I liked it after some getting used to it. I hope for a new story.

“a new child was brought to the Home. He reminded me of someone but I couldn’t place who. I would swear I had seen him before” I am anxious to know who the boy is, maybe a brother of Louise.
-
Wonderful and so visual that I see myself as a spectator.

6 children adopted, wow . I didn’t expect that. But it is great. But I am still waiting for campaigns to adopt more children by other people.

A great chapter in which a lot happens. Good idea to use students as volunteers. And the art students can bring the creativity of the children to life. How nice it would be if the girl from the painting in the Louvre turns out to have a talent for drawing/painting. She is still very young but talent can always be seen.
