    Vows

Thanks for your contribution, since you were the person I was talking to. What you said made me think. I decided to write those thoughts down. I know how you feel about your man. It is a thing you can nearly hold in your hands.

You already are a better person. Take stock of what you do daily and how you treat, and what you do for others.
  3. you're very kind, molly-pop. Thank you.

Thanks, Chris. That's wonderful to hear.
  5. Thanks for thinking of us, chris. We can't visit here either. It's hard on people. Just do what feels right... let them look after you. Take care of yourself.

    Vows

I couldn't have said them unless I was serious and meant them. I will be with you until the day I am no more. xo

    Vows

The other evening a friend said to me; "The hard times are when I think about my vows to my husband. And that helps. We all have troubles, but we can be the constant in the lives of those we love. There's something sublime and wonderful about that." He's right, of course. Being there for others, a partner or friend, is a wonderful feeling. Those vows we make when we marry are not just words to be said because 'that's what you do'. No. They are and should be words held in the highest regard. Sacred? Maybe they should be. Too many people seem to easily forget them when times are hard, rather than do as my friend said. Hard times are when our vows are most important. They should be a comfort and a beacon. I read about couples forced now to be home with each other. Many are not doing very well. They argue and fight about everything it seems. The don't know how to compromise and share. What a shame that is. But also, for many the opposite is true as well. It has been for tim and I. We talk more, laugh more. We can be quiet together, each of us doing our own thing. Being locked down together since March 2020 has been good for our relationship. Though, it hasn't been walk in the park. tim struggles with depression and that has hit hard sometimes during 'Covid'. But he has held on and worked through it. Taking time to care for himself. If you're in a committed relationship and you made vows to each other and you find you are struggling, look back at that day, remember the look in your beloved's eyes and the words you said to them and they to you. Say them again each day in your heart. Mean them. Relationships are work. The things we struggle for and work for offer the greatest reward. That love you share is worth it, everyday.
  8. That's great news. Good for her and good for the neighbours. While we cannot be close, we can still support each other even in the smallest of ways.
  9. Good... sue the pricks for at least the hospital bills. Thank you for the update, Kitt.
  10. I hope the police were called. They should not get away with that. I am sorry to hear this, Kitt. Most people cannot control themselves. I am sick of their whining about having to stay home and do the necessary thing, right now. You'd think people were told they were going to put in a concentration camp at hard labour, rather than stay in their own homes with all the benefits they have there. Personally, I am ready for the Government to take next steps, enforce lock down, and curfews. People need slapping and Big Brother right now. They cannot do what is necessary themselves, for the most part. And those who have been doing what was asked, are getting tired of it. I understand that. Doing the right thing while others do as they please and cases and deaths keep climbing is frustrating. We were recently told we have a resident in our building who has Covid. The building management has assured us that a sanitation company will be here several times a week to properly sanitize the place on top of the cleaning and sanitizing that is already done. They ask we continue to wear masks when outside our own apartments, that we wash our hands properly and use the hand sanitizer they supply. Should I show my unhappiness by beating up our superintendent? That poor woman was a threat to no one. I am terribly sorry to read this. I hope she will be all right. Try to find some good daily. Keep off social media - it is a pit of vipers and worse.
  11. I hope you all have had a good Christmas and New Year's. The Day is pleasant so far ... lamb is cooking, husband is knitting and seems happy enough. I wish you all the best during this new year.
  12. You are just like anyone else. WE all are. This pisses me off, this thing too many straight people do .. like pat Gay bros or sisters on the head, like they need to be indulged. That we have disappointed them.. well, maybe we should tell them how they disappointed US! Sorry.. Merry Christmas all. Live your life.. fk the rest of em.
  13. I'm a very lucky man! You're a very sweet lady.
  14. You're welcome to stalk me ... I'm easy to see at 6'11" though tim seems to lose me in stores often.

  17. You also Reader, take care. I'll look after tim.
  18. Thank you. you take care also, rick.
  19. They are cute. And yes, no litter and no reactions as I am very allergic to the real thing, sadly. They make good pets. I hope your Friday is a pleasant one, molly.
  20. I'll do my best. I don't think we'll bother going out there today.
  21. I hope everyone is doing well. Other than foolish barn owners and not getting your new mattresses. Our household is growing, first with a new hippo and now a multicoloured cat and and yellow kitten. I'm not sure what may come next. Possibly a pair of wool socks....
  22. A wonderful thing. Thank you for sharing your news. tim and I wish you much joy and a long and happy marriage.
  23. I am going to say goodnight. Nice to see both of you here. Take care, each of you and stay safe. Goodnight.
