    Chapter 31

When I was young (3-7) my family was very family oriented. We did everything with my Aunts and Uncles and my cousins. Every summer my dad would pay for the families to go to Florida for week vacation at the beach (We lived in Memphis). One year we traveled to California via the Grand Canyon and Mexico. My dad own restaurants but found time to be with kids. My mom passed when I was 7, in the first grade. Everything changed. My dad dated some after my mom died and finally remarried to a stereotype stepmom-wicked witch of the west. She didn't allow us to have have contact with my mom's family. Life change at that time from better to worst. This was in the fifties and to give an idea of who my step mom was, her ex-huband got custody of their 4 kids.

    Chapter 6

Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were killed inside their own home, located at 3311 Waverly Drive (formerly addressed as 3301) in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The house sits near Griffith Park.

    Chapter 1

The Hayloft on Ventura brought back many memories. That was in the early 70's. Heck I could have been that guy. This seems to be a very interesting story.

    Chapter 15

While everyone is talking about the end of the Dom and sub, I was interested in the implosion of the apartments. I got to witness in January of 2000 the implosion of the Mapes Hotel in Reno. I watched it from the steps of the County Courthouse with non other than Judge Mills Lane. I was a Deputy Commissioner of Civil Marriages and my office was next door. Since I didn't have a ceremony, I went out and watched. It was a "straight down" implosion fortunately because the Truckee River ran right beside it. This chapter brought back memories.

    Chapter 2

I don't normally comment but this is one of the best chapters I've read, you've done a great job of perfectly describing Donald Trump's reaction.
  6. Love the story very much. There are a few problems though. Beale Air Force Base is in California, not Nevada. The two air force bases in Nevada are Fallon which is NE of Reno and Nellis which is the Las Vegas area. I've read this story before but re-reading it to refresh my memory. Thanks.
  7. I smell a forced marriage coming on, especially if Don gets his way.

    Chapter 20

I have read most of your stories and loved them all. Thank you for the wonderful stories.
  9. It's interesting to read this and even the comments back to 2013. In just a few short years it was ruled that Same Sex marriages were legal in all of these United States. Love the story all the way to the end. Thank you for your time in writing this those years ago.
