    Chapter Forty-Three – Just Derpy Things Jonathan was as silent as a cat as he slunk along the wall and then raised his hand to knock softly on Maddox’s door. Without waiting to be invited in, he turned the doorknob and snuck inside, all the while making sure that no one was roaming the hallways at that hour. He gasped in surprise as he found himself face to face with Maddox, who must have gotten close without him realizing it, as busy as he had been with getting inside the room undetected.

    I love writing secondary characters sometimes. And I had such a picture in mind of Mr. Simmons, a dignified butler, but one with a quick wit and a penchant for a bit of benign irony. He's a man who has seen things and met a lot of people. He was the most indicated to read Rusty.

    More of Rusty and Maddox during the new episode. With Drew and his parents, it was mostly Drew's play to show that he mended his ways. As for his parents, they thought it a bad idea to be at odds with an influential family such as theirs.

    Drew is only interested in showing to his parents that he mended his ways... Hence his annoyance with Jonathan that he doesn't want to play along. Even without seeing Jonathan for a long time, he still thought he would play him like his puppet. And you're right about mom
