Maddox and Rusty are indeed best friends, and Maddox knows Rusty very well. And yes, that gives the boys a bit of reprieve so that they can use the heads on their shoulders, too!

As I said earlier, I will refer to Xpress when they do something to surprise the characters. Maddox, so far, remains the straight guy who used to be the king of hookups, but is not anymore.

Surely, Maddox's lack of interest in the female population haven't gone unnoticed. I will only refer to Xpress when they're doing something outrageous. That Maddox is not hooking up anymore is out in the open after weeks of no-action from the most popular guy on campus. Rusty's intervention... well, that's Rusty, always there when you (don't) need him, lol! The guys will dance around one another for a little while more!

We'll go through some twists and turns before the final curtain is bound to fall. But there will be still a good chunk of chapters before that happens. Sebastian might not seem to listen, but his mind is at work. (Love will win, I'm just not going to say how... I'm a lil' bit evil like that - insert exaggerated evil laughter from some B-rated horror movie)
