  1. A good portion with Mike and Ryan will follow next time! (Glad you liked the, um, popping)
  2. I'm glad you liked the chapter And there will be more with Mike and Ryan during the following chapters. While Jared and Shane enjoy their fwb situation, you're a bit right about Adrian. He delved into what he wants for now, but let's see how that works out (not saying anything more).
  3. Chapter Twenty – The Boyfriend Experience “Adrian?” Mike’s voice was a faded sound, and Adrian had to shake his head to regain all his senses that had been snatched, in a mere second, by the guy who had just walked through the door. “That’s Edward,” Adrian said quickly. “I’ll go get him.” “Wow, that’s Edward?” Mike’s excitement was enough to make Adrian feel proud. “No wonder even you’re afraid of competition.” Adrian stood up. Yeah, competition. He didn’t need some twink to
  4. Thank you, David! I really wanted to show Rhys's disbelief in a light that would be believable. Sometimes, with stories dealing with the supernatural, it's easy to forget - the author's fault, not the readers' - that certainly most people wouldn't be able to accept such things just like that.
  5. Toby will still be around a little What he will do remains to be seen.
  6. Yes, Toby still needs to play a role And I'm glad that you understand Rhys's reaction.
  7. He-he, I guess I'm responsible for eliminating all the possible emoji reactions. The torture will be over soon, I promise!
  8. The maid ... she will be explained a bit later and I hope that will make complete sense

Hey Mr. Will Glad to see you're enjoying this story. Since you're already reading most of it - and already done - you had the chance to check all your assumptions made at the beginning of reading it. Thank you for leaving a comment!
  10. Chapter Twenty-Four – It’s Over Now Mason woke up from his fitful sleep and held Rhys close. Exhausted from the earlier events, he had fallen asleep on the bed, in his suit, and with his precious charge in his arms, determined never to let go. There had been no complaints from the other who clearly needed to sleep off the drugs that had been injected in his system. On and off, Mason had awakened, only to listen to Rhys’s steady breathing. He placed a soft kiss on the parted lips. They w

You guys have great intuition on this matter. Billy will explain everything to Mason next chapter As for the wait, there won't be much left of the story, so only a few weeks, and it will be done. I think other guys would be jealous of you nonetheless, lol. They waited like the awesome people they are week after week for me to update.

I loved that line so much when I wrote it ... I thought it would be such a Billy thing to say! And just like other readers here, your intuition tells you something!

I think everyone has questions still! And didn't I promise - maybe not so clearly - that you won't be disappointed in Billy? I just couldn't make him a bad guy. He must be on top of the list of my favorite secondary characters.

    Eyes And Ears

He-he, all I can say is wow You'll know later why I'm saying that, I think once ch. 24 is live. I'm greatly honored by your comparison. I've only read several books by Dean Koontz, but he has a writing style I'm dying for - I don't read a lot of horror, and I prefer the mystery/thriller type. However, Koontz got me with some amazing reads. If you don't mind a suggestion, I recommend the Detective Hunter series by Chris Carter. I think I've read about 19 books in this series, and each of them caught me reading until wee hours of the morning. Thank you for your comment!

Chapter Twenty-Three – Dark Chills “We need to look at it.” “I know,” Mason replied. His hands trembled slightly as he inserted the card into his phone. Flicking through the folders, his frown deepened. If that were a loose end … “For Rhys,” he read out loud. That had to be it. He dreaded what he would find, but there was no other choice but to move forward. Both he and Toby held their breath as he clicked on the single video file present in the folder. *** “So you
