Chapter Twenty-Five - A Practical Romantic “Join us upstairs?” Adrian offered Christian, but the blond head shook, and a smile as big as the sun followed. “I just got out of that boring affair, so I don’t plan on hanging out with two old men,” Christian replied. Adrian smirked. He knew that Edward’s cousin wanted to give them space to work things out. “What are you going to do?” Christian shrugged. “Maybe go to a bar, start a fight, cool things like that.” “Christian,” E

A Whole Lotta Benefits
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in A Whole Lotta Benefits
Glad to see you here! I hope you will continue to enjoy my stories! -
I didn't think Edward took after his father... but the more I look at it, the more so it seems. And he's like his father in other ways, too
-
Hi Lisa, so glad to hear from you again! You know you're right about Edward As for Shane... I knew people would love him!
-
He-he, it looks like everyone feels a range of emotions... which I think it's good! I knew that Edward's backstory will make some things clear so that he doesn't appear like a heartless bastard for no reason. Characters' motivations are what make a good story, in my opinion. And the boys will be all right, even financially wise! Don't worry about putting pressure! Jared's story won't be anything dramatic, or action-like, but I hope you'll find it sweet and funny. Thank you for your comment!

Thanks a lot!
-
That's cool to hear, lol! There are a few chapters left, so you'll get to spend more time in their company!
-
Ah, I'm so happy that everyone likes Christian! He was instrumental to Adrian's plan and played his role by giving it his all ... which includes, of course, a penchant for illegal things. As always, you commentary is spot on, and you will see next time how things go!
-
That's certainly true! Dear Edward will need some training, but he has a good teacher Adrian's workouts might focus, though, on certain muscle groups ...
-
Ha-ha-ha, Mr. Hastings will live ... and get to see his son married, even if it's to a freight train, lol! Thank you for your comment!
-
Yeah, only Jared left ... and I bet you will like his story, too!

Chapter Twenty-Four – He Said … He rarely drove, and his car was used to catch dust in the parking lot, but he had to do it for this particular quest. Adrian stood, his mind a haze, his hands resting still on the wheel, a few yards away from Edward’s house. He had rehearsed everything he wanted to say over and over, but his words became a mess the more he repeated them. Clasping the wheel tightly, he was about to get out of the car when the large gate to the mansion opened, and Edward’s lim

Hi Philippe, glad to see your comment! Yes, Mike's got game😎 Shane is such a good-natured character, I loved coming up with him. As for why he is the way he is, there is an explanation, only that it may not be as deep as the one you think. You'll tell me what you think when we get there Adrian's execution of the plan ... oh, boy ... you'll see it by the end of this week, and I hope you and the other readers will have a blast with it! Thank you for being such a considerate, insightful, and all-around awesome reader! All the best!
-
Thank you for reading! And I'm glad people liked the idea of keeping things believable, even if it's a ghost story!
-
Thank you for your comment! Yes, Jared needs one of those! As for Adrian and his plans ... just wait and see
-
Glad you like them!
-
Good to know, lol!
-
He-he-he ... thank you!
-
So glad you do, Wes ... and there will be so much more of him!

Chapter Twenty-Three - A Little Help Adrian hadn’t slept a wink all night long, tormented by questions and what-if scenarios. He couldn’t, wouldn’t allow himself regrets, but that was easier said than done. There was one particular thing that came back to haunt him over and over. Edward had said that he had decided on Sunday to call it quits, and yet, the next day, he had hurried to meet Adrian, go out to dinner with him, and later to bed. That didn’t sound like someone who had made u

Glad to hear it! -
Yes, slowly but surely, we're getting closer to the end. There are still several chapters left, and the inevitable ups and downs ... but yes, I guess you can say that

Thank you for all the praise and good thoughts, Philippe! I really wanted to offer readers the possibility to enjoy Mike and Ryan being happy and in love. While the other characters have had their rollercoasters of emotions so far, their evolution felt even to me postponed due to obstacles that came to me as completely natural, but still. They did deserve their spot in the light, and I'm glad to see that you enjoyed it!

He-he ... I think you're not the only one!
